Marine Terrace (Amami Oshima)

First of all, the food is delicious!! I was able to start my day with a hearty meal. If you leave early for an activity, you can change it to rice balls if you let us know in advance. There are plenty of delicious dishes made with local ingredients from Amami Oshima at night. Local dishes and seafood caught by the owner couple in the sea in front of the house were lined up, so I was able to enjoy a meal that is unique to traveling. The room was also very clean, and I was able to spend the whole time comfortably. Towels, toothbrushes, shampoo, and other general amenities are available. There is a refrigerator in the hallway where you can store food and drinks you bought. It was very convenient because I was able to buy a lot of ice cream, juice, beer, etc. The terrace attached to the room does not have a perfect ocean view! Although it is not, you can still see the sea. I think it makes a big difference whether you have a terrace or not, whether you drink beer while looking at the sea in the evening or coffee in the morning. There is a Goemon bath in the annex. This is the best! Perhaps because it was heated from firewood or from below, it felt like it was warming from the inside out, so much so that my children, who usually don't take long baths, didn't want to get out. Even if the sea is a little cold in December, it's bearable if you know that the Goemon bath is waiting for you when you get home! There is a shower in the room, so you can rest assured. There is also a bathroom other than the Goemon bath. It is a bathroom like those found in ordinary homes, and can be used by families. The owners are a lovely couple with smiles. They were really kind to our children, and my shy child got used to it. Since the couple were born and raised on Amami Oshima, we were able to hear a lot about Amami Oshima. The location is good, and large supermarkets and other places are within a relatively short car distance. It is also easy to get to downtown Naze. Above all, it is quiet. The sea is right in front of you. I went out to the sea at night and was amazed by the stars that seemed to fall. (You may need to be careful of snakes in warm seasons.) If I had to point out a negative point, it would be that the entrance is a little hard to find from the road, but once you get used to the vending machine as the landmark, it's not a problem at all. This is a pension that makes you want to go back to Amami and return to Marine Terrace.
