The Swan at Tarporley

Conveniently located in Tarporley, the accommodation offers free parking and comfortable, cozy rooms with friendly and attentive staff. Guests also enjoy delicious breakfast and comfortable beds.

This is our second visit and it was just as good as the first. From the minute you walk in you are welcomed by one of the friendly staff. Check in was swift and we were really pleased that we got the same room as our last stay (this was requested on booking so we were hopeful). The rooms are comfortable, you get everything replenished daily - towels, tea, coffee, biscuits, crisps - you get a bottle of water upon arrival but we found once that had gone you didn’t get another - I’m guessing if you ask you will be given one. Rooms are cleaned everyday and bed remade etc. Room has a coffee machine, kettle, hairdryer, toiletries in bathroom, and plenty of hanging space for clothes, we always take a few extra coat hangers wherever we go just in case there aren’t enough. Breakfast is included and it is absolutely stunning, so is the food in the Restaurant, we ate there on all three nights of our stay and just can’t fault the choice - we are still learning that maybe 3 courses is a bit too much but everything on the menu is so delicious it’s hard to say no. Food is plentiful so choose wisely. Make sure you book the Restaurant though as it can get very busy. If the pub is busy you will find it hard just to sit yourself down and order food to eat at your table, hence the recommendation to book. Who would want to miss out on the delicious food that is served here! Staff are friendly and attentive - always asking if they can help, check if you have any allergies when ordering food - not a lot of Restaurants do that. Car park is a bit small but we managed to get a space - you just need to be aware of its size as it’s used by people who aren’t staying at the Hotel. Well worth a visit if you are driving through or staying in the area.
