Tous les plus beaux mots n’arriveront jamais à décrire la beauté de ce lieu. C’est tout simplement un endroit magnifique, les chambres ( suites) sont très belles, très spacieuses, très propre. Elles sont décorées avec goût. Parlons de ce jardin magique. Les plantes sont de toutes beauté, tout y est bien entretenu. C’est un plaisir de si promener et un régale pour les yeux. Parlons des Responsables de ce merveilleux paradis, Florence et Xavier , des personnes d’une grande gentillesse, très a l'écoute, toujours souriant, très sympathique. Le personnel est d’une grande amabilité, très serviable et surtout toujours le sourire aux lèvres, très respectueux. Oh il faut essayer le Hammam, un moment de détente ou les personnes qui s’occupent de nous pour le gommage et le massage, dont des gens très sympathique et qui connaissent très bien leurs métiers. Un vrai plaisir partagé avec mon conjoint, nous avons été tous les deux ravis de cette séance de douceur, merci à eux. Je recommande vivement ce magnifique lieu, ou on y dort et on y mange très très bien. Nous avons passé 4 jours inoubliables, Florence et Xavier milles mercis pour votre accueil très chaleureux. Je suis un habitué de Dar al Hossoun j’y ai séjourné à plusieurs reprises. Cette fois encore tout était parfait. Le personnel est au petit soin, le lieu est splendide. Les chambres sont très grandes et joliment décorées ! Nous avons dîné un soir sur place un excellent tagine d’agneau au petits pois ! Bref vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés vous ne serez pas déçu.

I really wanted to give this hotel five stars but I just can’t. Here are some issues and some positives about this lovely hotel. There was not one plug in the bedroom for any devices as they were all in the bathroom which was inconvenient. The lighting was insufficient in both the bedroom and bathroom, and I had to unplug one of the lights to access the only plug I could use in the bedroom which made the lighting even worse. There were so many flies in the bedroom that I had to have them come and get rid of them but I still had many in the bathroom and every morning I had to cover my stuff and deal with flies - my peers did not have this issue. The bed I was in every time I would roll over it would move and it make a large noise and this disturbed my sleep. I had a massage at the hotel with a man, and I’ve had men massage me before but they did not let me know that my breasts would be exposed and I was quite uncomfortable and not relaxing and the massage was upsetting. On a positive note, the staff provided excellent and prompt service and were very kind, the dinner was very good and the basic breakfast was acceptable. The grounds and the room interiors were splendid.

We stayed here for three nights during our 15 day tour of Morocco. Unfortunately it is not top of our list of places to return to. It is very much a garden with rather basic rooms. The problem is there is a lot of garden. Mostly quite overgrown and shaded so apart from some seating outside the bar (no room inside) virtually nowhere to sit and enjoy any warmth or sun. Only a few rather basic sunbeds outside some of the rooms. We were in a "Junior suite" (No 9, Verger) and as soon as we entered it struck us as cold, dark and damp. It may be it hadn't been used for a while. There were only about 4 of the 19 or so rooms occupied when we arrived. Working out that the air-con also served as a heater, and having the fire lit made a difference, but the bed was the hardest and worst we experienced in Morocco. On our second day, (returning from Taroudant in the rain) we realised that our "suite" consisted of a double bed and a single bed against a wall with some cushions behind it. No comfortable chairs. I went to reception and complained about no seating apart from the bed, and no other seating anywhere for guests. We were shown two other suites which did have chairs but the bed was no better so we decided to stay put. The location is down quite a long gravelled track, and the route into Taroudant (at least the one our driver used every time) was not the prettiest. The staff were pleasant but certainly not the most experienced or professional that we came across. One morning they couldn't unlock the restaurant so breakfast was in a cold room downstairs. When we left and were dragging our bags over the paving past the reception the guy at the desk looked up from his screen, then went back to his screen. Everywhere else the staff helped us with our bags and saw us off. Its the little things that make all the difference.

We had a lovely experience at Dar al Hossoun. The room, the environment and garden were wonderful and peaceful (all the animals contribute in their own way to this as well). Not to forget the extremely nice hammam and massage. Made some great trips to town with a very helpful guide. And last but not least : the food is of a very high standard. Many thanks and keep up these levels of service we would say.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits pour s’échapper du tumulte des grandes villes, ça été une belle découverte de se trouver dans ce petit paradis, tout est soigné, c’est un lieu magique complété avec un service attentionné et souriant, tout est fait pour que vous passiez un agréable séjour. Très bonne table également, nous y avons pris déjeuner et dîner avec grand plaisir. Les chambres sont indépendantes et très confortables, nous étions dans la chambre verger.
