Urban Rooms

DO NOT STAY HERE!! When we arrived we were shown a room about 20 sq m. We had reserved an apartment room 55 sq m, with full kitchen. After showing them my reservation I was told the room wasn't available because they were under reservation. The whole front of the building is scaffolded and looks like it has been like this fir awhile. We had to find another place in the evening as we had food that would spoil. My advise.DO NOT STAY HERE.

When we arrived #Urbsn RoomsTaranto# we noticed the ENTIRE front of the building was under construction and appeared it was like this for awhile. Then we proceeded to go to the room that was appointed to us. We booked an apartment room with ocean view, cooking facilities, fridge, etc., 55 sq meters. The room we were shown consisted of only a bed, no cooking, no view, approximately 20 sq meters. When I showed the person my reservation she was shocked. At that point the clerk called the booking manager and we were told that there was no apartment as they were under construction. End result we were very upset as we had to find other accommodations in the evening. We had food that would spoil if we didn't find another accommodation with a fridge and cooking facilities. After 50 years of travel all over the world including South east Asia we have never encountered this. Avoid #Urban RoomsTaranto# at all cost. This was a clear disception by management to mislead weary travelers. 😩
