Our third stay here and it was just incredible, thanks to the new housekeeping team and excellent customer care by the owner. The cottage was so clean, the fire was stoked and ready to go and the grounds were immaculate - even for a Winter stay. We loved the nostalgic feel of the hot-water bottles. The cottages and the grounds have received a lot of love and attention and we will be back in the Spring to enjoy the gardens again. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Lovely cottage with every amenity on hand. Welcome was lovely . Very welcoming to my puppy as well. Would highly recommend for groups or people seeking a quiet retreat. i will stay again

Lovely location and interesting property. Also affordable. Linen clean, but better dusting, mopping, vacuuming and upkeep needed.

Lovely location. Gardens are probably the highlight. Our summer getaway was really enjoyable. On the whole, it was a great value get away. Our small cottage was very cozy and bright.
Glad we came.
Maintenance is becoming an issue I suggest.
Pavers not secure and hazard. Windows that don't open and have no screens. Bare minimum assortment of random cutlery and crockery.
The games room and tennis court are borderline unusable...too much to maintain.
Our cottage was the smallest, and cheapest, so maybe the other options were better kitted out.

Lovely property with friendly hosts. Clean and exactly as advertised. Beautiful, well maintained gardens. Communication with the hosts was efficient and friendly. Price was reasonable and booking process went smoothly. Breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Spent a long weekend here with partner and the dog. We stayed in the Gardeners Cottage - a bit quirky but extremely comfortable. Everything was pretty much as wanted for the weekend, although you need to take your supplies with you as it is quite isolated and there’s limited facilities close by. I’d like to go back with the grandkids - plenty for them to do and roam freely. Could not recommend it highly enough

The owner put the phone down on me when I chased refund of my deposit following the need to cancel due to a hospital appointment. Booking was made through third party and lucky it was as I have had to go through them for refund. Cancellation was well within terms and conditions policy timeframe and the accommodation was actually rebooked for our dates so owner was extremely rudely double dipping. Very poor show, disgusting and untrustworthy service.

Lovely property not too far off the Calder Freeway with several cottages. We stayed in the Teahouse Cottage- it was a cute little 2 bedroom with full kitchenette and a fireplace. Being pet friendly, we were able to take our furbabies who also enjoyed the little weekend getaway. The kids enjoyed the vast gardens and treehouse play area; and that there was WiFi (an important staple these days!). We would certainly consider going again
