I stayed on a weekday, so there were only 4 people in the hostel, and I was the only male, so I shared a mixed 8-person room by myself. When public transportation is out, you can take a taxi to get here. The taxi dispatcher initially quoted a price of 300-400 NTD, but it actually cost about 250 NTD. There are several bus routes that pass in front of the hostel, so it is okay to go to downtown Taipei the next morning.
