Taoyuan Hotels with Bars

Location is very sensible, especially if you are doing a transit in Tao Yuan airport. It took us about 20 minutes to get there.  It was very late when we arrived but you have access to 2 supermarkets, which is very convenient.  The room was very spacious where we got two double beds for family of four.

This was a great hotel to stay at before my flight the next morning! First, it is right on the express MRT line, so it’s less than 30 minutes to the airport with frequent trains coming by. Second, it’s connected to the MRT station and the Global shopping mall, so you don’t even need to go outside. You can just exit the station directly into the mall, and the door to the hotel is right there, 1 minute from the station! And then, you can find restaurants in the mall, so it’s convenient. The hotel breakfast is amazing with so many choices of different foods and good coffee. The room was very comfortable, quiet, non-smoking, clean, and spacious. This is simply a great hotel, and I highly recommend it!

Left something behind in the room and sent two emails to enquire but gotten no reply till today. Though it was not something expensive, it would have been greatly appreciated if someone would bother to reply.

The Westin Tashee Resort in Taoyuan was an excellent getaway. The property is a little bit o it of the way, but it was well worth the trip. The service and hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well stocked on amenities. We had a good view of the mountains. The best part of the resort was all the activities and the pool. The outdoor pool was clean and just the right temperature. There was an open bar from 8:00 to 9:30 that was fun and had performers. Lots of Activities for kids as well. My only criticism would be the quality of the food in the buffet. While they had a lot of options, including western food, it was in my opinion poorly executed for the price. We tried both the dinner buffet and the breakfast buffet. For example, the eggs were too watery, the bacon not crispy enough during breakfast. Dinner the meat was dry. High points of the buffet is the selection and the Indian food. Surpassingly, the lobby bar (cafe?) had a great club sandwich, and was the best meal of the stay.

Hotel room is very clean. Bed is super wide and comfortable, so it was very easy to fall asleep. Service is excellent. Breakfast includes a variety of food. The location is good. There’s a bus stop very close to the hotel, so if you can figure out the bus system, it’s quite convenient to take the bus to go to where you want to go, such as the Zhongli night market or shopping malls. It’s more convenient to take a taxi, and you can also ask the front desk to book you one.

”The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was amazing with plenty of fresh and healthy plenty choices. We thoroughly enjoyed the food! The staffs were always motivated to help us, staff are all friendly. But on the other side, is the swimming pool, I didn’t enjoy that much because a lot of people there. Pool was not really big . Can’t relax that much children and parents are shouting. But I really enjoyed private hot spring.

The front desk clerk was polite and answered all questions. I booked a snoopy room, but the bedsheets and quilts in the room were not snoopy. It was really disappointing. We only came to this hotel for one night just for the snoopy. The price was already very expensive and it was not worth it. Except for a large piece of glass with a snoopy on it, the other equipment has no snoopy and I don’t know what kind of snoopy room this is. The snoopy shop on the 3rd floor is very beautiful, but the prices of the goods are a bit high, there are too many check-in points, and the gashapon machines are a bit bad. They should all be for twisting out snoopy dolls. Some of them will twist out other non-snoopy dolls, which is a bit disappointing. . The breakfast tastes good, but the variety is a little lacking. The poached eggs do not taste good at all if they are cooked and placed in an insulator. They have to be boiled and eaten immediately to taste.

It was about 16,000 yen per night on a Friday night with breakfast included. Trip.com had the lowest price. They seemed to be having a sale at the time, and the price was higher after that, so I was glad I was able to make a reservation at a good price. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport, and a taxi cost about 1,200 yen (including late-night charges). I wouldn't say there were a lot of options for breakfast, but there was a sufficient variety and everything was delicious. The shuttle bus was very convenient, so I recommend making use of it.

I decided to check in because the hotel had a hot spring pool, children's play area and water play area. When placing the order, I made a note that I wanted baby products and bed rails, but in the end, bed rails, children's toiletries and dental supplies were not provided. The room is spacious, has a swimming pool, and has an open view. Glue the floor to prevent the carpet from getting wet and moldy. The hot spring operates in the form of a sorority. It is a bit complicated to register and change clothes. Remember to wear a swimming cap, even for my 1-year-old baby. The pool surface is so big that you can't wear slippers to walk on it, but the rubber carpet is so hard and uncomfortable for your feet. The bottom of the indoor pool is not smooth and there are grains of things on it. The children's play area is well equipped and includes sections for driving cars and playing house, so children don't want to leave. The breakfast buffet has a variety of choices and the restaurant environment is also good. There was no waiter when I got off the bus at the main entrance. It was a bit difficult for me with a few luggages and a stroller.

The hotel is some way away from the station and some way away from the old street. It was a bit noisy outside at night. The toilet paper provided in the bathroom was actually used by other guests. It ran out in a while and it was too late to ask the hotel to send another room. Breakfast is a Jiugongge, the taste is average and the amount is small. There are no doors in the room and sink, making it inconvenient to change clothes.
