This was a great stay for us. The hotel is in the process of being remodeled and we got a couple of remodeled rooms. They were attractive and comfortable. The hotel staff were all very nice and accommodating to a couple of old couples who could not figure out the TVs and such. We ate breakfast at the on site cafe, and it was so much better and cheaper than fast food. One negative sorta thing is that the king rooms we had did not have a comfortable chair. The desk chair is hard, but we just made ourselves comfy on the beds with the ample pillows. One positive is the rooms were equipped with air purifiers—-a first for me!

We spent 1 night here and what a great choice we made ! This seems to be what was once a motel at one time or another. The current owner has done an incredible job on bringing the room we stayed in and the lobby up to 2024. The improvements have been done really well. This is a quiet, safe area. We all slept well had no problem getting back in the car to start our site seeing. You park outside our room door. A couple of things I want to mention for our fellow travelers. The Rio Grande Bridge is about 4 miles from the hotel. It's an easy find. We were excited about visiting the Taos Pueblo however, it was closed due to a funeral. Kit Carson's home & Museum didn't open until 11. So off we went to the next stop. Albuquerque. I will also mention that the GPS directions couldn't get us to the hotel. Thankfully a young lady there talked us through all of the construction, street closures to finally arrive. The town is undergoing major road construction. Thank goodness for the Valley Lodge for having someone who could direct us .

We threw a last-minute road trip together, first stop was two nights in Taos. The lodge was about a mile from the downtown plaza. I was pleasantly surprised! It looks like an older property from the outside, but looks can be deceiving. We ended up with a double queen room, which was updated, clean, spacious, and comfy. The soaps and lotions were very nice, smelled great. Took advantage of the wonderful coffee shop which was just off of the lobby. A lot of locals were hanging out there. I would absolutely stay there again.

Stayed for over a week in late September. This was my second stay to visit my oldest. The hotel is very conveniently located just South of the historic district. Our room had a minor problem that was fixed promptly. There were no remodeled rooms available for our stay and all I can say is old, but very clean. I got to see one of the remodeled rooms and they looked great. Everything was new. The service was wonderful. Nick (who seemed to work 24/7. I thought he had been cloned) was wonderful, always smiling, friendly and as polite as a good Southerner. He was quick to bring extra supplies for the room multiple days , but most importantly, he graciously extended our stay 3 nights, on the morning we were originally supposed to leave, due to hurricane Helene at home and severe flooding.

What a genuine find!!! Booked this hotel after leaving another that was unacceptable. Front desk staff were GREAT!! Very friendly and helpful. The hotel has been renovated or is in renovation. Opened the door and was IMPRESSED. Lovely room, tile floors and obvious they spent a lot of thought on updating the rooms. Two nice beds, A/C worked great and even had an air purifier. The lighting in the bath is EXCELLENT. The is a room safe is a nice touch. Lots of electrical plugs for all of the electronics. The coffee shop is VERY popular. You can get breakfast there. Fridge, microwave and coffee pot in the room. Lot's of space to sent things down. Convenient parking. I'll book here next time I'm in Taos.

I am Linda. Twice I have lived at this Lodge when I was between homes. One time for 3 months and now for over 4 months. I love and treasure Taos Valley Lodge for many reasons. The staff, everyone of these people are professional outstanding and genuine. I know Jelena and Nic the most because they have assisted me and supported me over these months in so many ways. Both Jelena and Nic seem tireless and are always willing to help me with packages arriving with keys with a good laugh. Dali has also been invaluable with details in my studio like Wi-Fi. I love the coffee shop and anyone in their right mind will love Peet’s coffee shop and this sensational Lodge. The grounds are impeccable the walks are impeccable and the are impeccable. The food is excellent and some baked goods are fully homemade and yes mouthwatering. Coffee is 10 plus out of 10. It’s quiet here. It’s cozy here. It’s like family here. Truly. And it’s close to so many places we all want to go. Stay here if you can. Imagine in 2 and one years I’ve lived here for a total of over 6 months. Wow. And I’ve felt safe happy and I know the team has my back. I feel thankful to be part of this experience. Recently this team bought dozens of big gorgeous potted plants and beautiful flowers. Now this Lodge is even more beautiful and nurturing. Enjoy your stay when you get here.

The man at the front desk was very helpful with information about local attractions, thanks Nic. The place was quiet. I didn't hear any outside noise. The rooms were very clean, like it had been recently renovated. Shower had plenty of pressure and was tall enough for me to shower without crouching. I will definitely stay here again.

Such a great experience! The beds were super comfortable and the view of the mountains from our room was absolutely beautiful. I think the Espresso Bar is new and is a really cozy, comfortable space for breakfast and an afternoon break. I can't say enough about the staff- friendly, professional, and handled every single thing I asked about quickly and professionally. I felt so welcomed and catered to, definitely staying here again!
