Inn on la Loma Plaza

The location is fantastic for walking Taos and close to downtown. The staff provides excellent, friendly service. Guests enjoy delicious breakfast options in a charming historic building with high-quality amenities.

I sent this email to the operator with no response back. Regarding our stay last night I am sending this email to you. We stayed in rooms 21 & 16. Our son helped the folks staying in room 17 navigate the way to their room in the dark & the group staying in the Taos mountain suite help with a door. (He phoned you regarding that). As far as our stay- the gourmet breakfast served us undercooked sausage links. When it was brought to the cooks attention she apologized and offered to replace it. We declined her offer. She went back to the kitchen and then returned stating “some people eat undercooked meat”we stated “we do not”. Regarding room 21- I spilled some water on the floor by the couch and upon wiping it up the washcloth was filthy. There are attached photos documenting this. We expected more from your establishment considering the price you charge and the awards that are posted in your lobby. We expected clean windows at the very least. We had hoped to speak with you about this upon checkout, but alas you were not there. You run a historic establishment, the prices you charge should reflect more than just that. We expect to hear from you regarding a discounted charge.

Great place to stay in Taos! The inn is within walking distance of the Town Square and a close driving distance to many other attractions. The owner truly wants to make her guests comfortable. We stayed in a spacious room with a spa like shower and soaking tub. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The made to order breakfast was delicious. There is a common area that contains books and movies to borrow, though it does close at 8pm.
