Cabin had comfortable sectional and bed. Kitchen and appliances were super nice. Cabin was clean and views were amazing this time of year. Lori, host, was accessible and helpful when we had a question. We have plans to return next year.

Lori, the host, could not have been more friendly, helpful, and accommodating! She is truly a kind and helpful person. This place was ideal. We are 3 old friends who were interested in riding ATVs around the local trails. We were able to ride from the cabin. Everything inside worked, and we had no problems. The place was very comfortable and relaxing. As others have said, the bathroom is small, but hey, get in and out. The shower had plenty of water pressure and an ample supply of hot water....and the water is very hot. That makes it nice for washing dishes - you are able to sanitize everything for the next guests. The washer and dryer worked well. Be sure to take your trash out to the dumpster. The front porch is a nice and relaxing spot. We brought our own camp chairs, which made it very comfortable. They do have a picnic table on the porch if you do not have camp chairs. The pond is stocked with trout and is very relaxing to watch or fish. This is top of our list when we return.

Great cabin
This was a cozy cabin. The pond and cabin were perfect for a much needed family vacation. It’s close enough to Red River, the fish hatchery and Taos for you to drive to the more crowded areas of the enchanted circle. The fishing was fun. The cabin had a nice living room kitchen and front porch. This place has everything you should expect for a comfortable mountain getaway.

Nice place convenient to the National Forest
The cabin is a nice place to stay if you are looking to hunt, fish, or play in the national forest. My kids enjoyed playing with the owners dogs that roam around the property. They provide a few fishing poles if you want to catch a few fish from their pond. Nice for catch and release. We would stay here again.

Beautiful cabin that shares a pond with another cabin (same property owner). Fire pit, wraparound porch, secluded driveway. Lori, the property owner is very responsive and prompt.

Excellent location and host
This property was well-maintained, and well-equipped. The host, Lori, was so helpful throughout our stay. She even dropped off a Christmas tree so that we could decorate for the holiday! The proximity to Red River, Taos, and Angel Fire makes this a great location for someone who wants easy access to multiple ski hills. If off-roading is your thing, you should check out the Cabresto Lake nearby via forest roads. Beautiful views, and very secluded. I would highly recommend this property!
