The service downstairs is not as good as that of Grand Belmond upstairs. Maybe it's because the mountain is a pedestrian street, and the prices for meals are very affordable. The transportation downstairs is not convenient, and it's close to the beach. The hotel service and dining are very different.

Overall very nice hotel. It was great to be near the beach, which we used a lot. There is a free shuttle to their sister hotel, which is in town. Rooms were big, but minimal and difficult to get to. There was a great view. Food was good, but their dinner menu is pretty similar to their lunch menu and they had run out of most of the fish by dinner.

Un'altra conferma da parte della catena Belmond. Si affaccia sulla spiaggia di Mazzarò, unendo costruzioni di varie epoche perfettamente integrate, tra giardini e affacci sul mare. Le attenzioni sono quelle che ci aspetta da una struttura a cinque stelle: gentilezza, disponibilità e professionalità, offerta da tutto il team. La camera è comoda e dotata di tutti i confort. Non troppo grande per chi ama fare la colazione in camera. C'è la navetta che fa la spola dal Villa Sant'Andrea al Grand Hotel Timeo. Ben organizzato il beach club e il giro in barca. Qualche disguido nel ristorante Sant'Andrea, ma nulla che non si possa perdonare.

We have stayed at a couple of Belmond properties, this is my favorite. The view was exceptional, the service was one of the best I have experienced at any hotel. Sandy at concierge and Marco at the outdoor bar were both incredible. It was a special trip thanks to Villa Sant’Andrea. We will be coming back!

We loved our time at this property. We booked a Junior Suite and were upgraded to the Mare Suite. It was beyond our expectations in decor, location and views. The staff was very good in timing their cleaning with our schedules. We had breakfast included and ate at the restaurant each day. The buffet was good with cooked plates offered from the menu. The beach chairs and service were also great. We took the complimentary boat tour which showcased the surrounding area and allowed swimming time in the beautiful blue sea. We had the special fixed dinner at Brizza. It was nice and the food creative, but the wine pairings were not specific to the food. They did change out the wines once we complained, which was very nice. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would consider revisiting in the future.

All perfect ,the hotel is at the perfect position next to the beach with very nice view from the rooms. All personel was very friendly and helpfull for all our needs. The beach is very good.The breakfast is perfect and full of choices. n general the service is very good. it is an expensive Hotel but ...it is our favorite hotel in Taormina and we visit it almost every year..

My husband and I stayed at Belmond Santa Andrea in Taormina to celebrate my birthday. The property is in a prime location, beautiful views throughout. Room service is amazing, restaurants are ok.
Staff is friendly, some are a little serious/ pretentious. Rooms are outdated and restrooms are in desperate need of a renovation. There is mold in the shower’s. Not the best belmond property we’ve stayed at. Definitely room for improvement.
Wouldn't stay here again unless renovated. The staff at belmond timeo are better trained and food is much better up there as far as restaurants and bar.
