Best Tangier-Assilah Hotels

"I went at the end of March. The hotel is located in the mountains on the outskirts of Tangier, Morocco. The scenery is relatively good. But because it is Ramadan, there are not many basic guests, and the swimming pool is under maintenance. The price-performance ratio of the $50 buffet per person is relatively low. There is not much food and no additions. The customer service staff basically do not understand English, and communication is relatively difficult. For breakfast, I ordered two glasses of 200ml orange juice and charged $12, which is a bit outrageous. Of course, the room facilities meet the five-star standard. After leaving the hotel, I found that I was overcharged by an inexplicable $250, and I have asked the bank for a refund. The overall service level can only be at the 2-3 star level. Not recommended, price is too low."

"The sea view room has a good view of the sea, the whole hotel is very fragrant, the breakfast is rich, the hotel is in a good location, just across the road to the beach, and a hundred meters away is a very popular seafood restaurant, the taste is very good, and it only takes five minutes to take a taxi to the high-speed rail station."

"The reason why I booked Hilton Hotel is because of its location. It is just opposite the train station and can be reached by crossing the road. It is a great choice for travelers who are dragging luggage without taking a taxi! The hotel has complete hardware facilities. The breakfast restaurant on the 15th floor with sea view is really great. The waiters are very enthusiastic and will serve you coffee and water. It is a good start to the day to have breakfast while looking at the coastline! The hotel is also very clean, and the waiters are very friendly and responsive! There is a shopping mall downstairs, and there are KFC, Pizza Hut and other restaurants on the top floor! It is ten minutes away from the beach. It is nice to walk around after a meal to digest the food!"

"The hotel merits the 5 star rating. Excellent all around. Breakfast is worth praising for the selection and quality of the produce. The staff is very attentive to guests' needs and comfort. A word of praise for the assistant floor/reception manager who out of his way to see to it that my stay was pleasant and memorable. Would only advise not to arrange airport pick-up through the hotel. The service will cost more than double that of a regular taxi. Otherwise, and as a seasoned world traveler, I strongly recommend the hotel."

"Sorry to say that we do not believe the hotel is up to its 5 star standard. It is a good hotel and the hotel does take care to look after it and make it enjoyable for people staying but if you are expecting 5 star quality it will let you down. In the room, inside the kettle, the coffee cup and the spoon were dirty (these hadn’t had a clean before us arriving), there was an awful sewage smell coming from the drain in the shower so bad that if we didn’t shut the bathroom door ah all times our room smelt revolting (this was room 336) I don’t know if it’s a general thing or just unlucky with the room. It felt like at times staff would favour people who have stayed at the hotel before (regulars) or people who had been staying there for a few days rather than welcoming new people. Finally, to top off our stay here, 5am we needed to leave for the airport, we asked the reception if he would kindly just call us a taxi, he told us this would be a charge of 250 DHR (we already knew this should have been no more than 150), we said no thank you walked into the street and got a taxi for 100 DHR. Very bad"

"The hotel is not in the city center but at the beach. The room size is very large. The service is good, but the price of the car charter is too expensive, and the euro is paid at the time of settlement, but the Dirham is deliberately changed. Others are fine."

"Everything was fine, but when we arrived they gave us a room that did not correspond to the reservation, it had no view but faced the back of the hotel. We complained and the girl at reception gave us problems and was rude. We asked to speak to the supervisor and they changed our room after a while of waiting. The breakfast was fine, service was good and everything was very clean. The best thing was the pool. I recommend it but be careful when you arrive which room they give you."

The certain degree of decadence, although subtle, rather than diminishing, increases the perception of a very relaxed atmosphere and, together with the friendly disposition of all the employees, a stay in this hotel becomes a very pleasant experience."
