Hidden garden is truly a hidden gem, and is one of the best places we've stayed in Sri Lanka... We had the real privilege of staying here over Sinhalese New Year and the hospitality was second to none... They took so much time for us and really made us feel welcome. The family was incredibly kind to my 8yr old son in particular The rooms were clean and put together with wonderful shutters and doors that opened up to a nice terrace to sit. The breakfast was delicious and so so generous, fresh fruits, eggs, toast and hoppers, as well as roti and daal We will definitely be back

Hidden Garden is echt in een woord geweldig! De kamer was heel mooi en erg schoon. Er hing een klamboe om het bed waardoor je beschermd bent voor muggen. Vanaf het balkon keek ik over Hidden Garden heen en in de ochtend was het heerlijk wakker worden met geluiden van vogels. Het ontbijt was verrukkelijk en uitgebreid. De familie van wie Hidden Garden is, is heel erg vriendelijk en gaf mij direct een gevoel van thuiskomen. Ze geven een warm gevoel en helpen je met leuke activiteiten in de omgeving, zoals kajakken door de lagoon. De gastvrijheid van de familie komt naar voren als het gaat om de activiteiten, samen met Dineth ging ik in een kajak door de lagoon. Hierdoor kwam ik op speciale plekken wat ik zelf niet zou hebben gevonden. Tevens heeft Hidden Garden een groot zwembad, dit is erg lekker om af te koelen. Het strand is op nog geen 50 meter en hierdoor bied deze plek alle mogelijkheden tot een onvergetelijke vakantie. Gratis en goede WiFi. Hidden Garden kan ik aan iedereen aanbevelen. Ik heb het geweldig gehad en dat is mede dankzij deze plek en de lieve familie. Dit is zeker een aanrader als je in Sri Lanka bent.

Très bel endroit à l'écart du bruit et de la route de la plage. Proche de la lagune et de la mer à moins de 100 m , superbe guesthouse avec très joli jardin exotique et belle piscine (ouverte au public pour 500 Rps ?) Les + : - Emplacement idéal à 2' de la plage et des bars et restaurants de plage - Grande chambre simplement aménagée sans clim ni frigo mais avec ventilateur - SDB de belle taille mais simple - Très beau jardin exotique - Accueil bienveillant, souriant de toute la famille - Petit déjeuner copieux mais attente plus ou moins longue - Calme et prix imbattable Les - : - Peu de transats autour de la piscine (6 au total) mais la mer est si proche C'est un lieu parfait, en retrait de l'agitation et de la route , au calme et juste à 1' de la plage et aussi de la lagune ou le canoe est toujours possible. Cet endroit porte bien son nom et sa note Trip est plus que méritée 5 / 5

Friendly helpful family run hotel. Restaurant on premises with Nice variety for breakfast both western and Sri Lanka foods, dinner also available. Incredibly nice swimming pool and free kayaking available or the lagoon. Rooms have nice balcony areas. Fans in room, no AC available…
