We had a lovely overnight stay. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Every staff member we spoke to was kind and helpful. Our room (No.10) was lovely, nicely decorated, had everything you needed and a huge comfy bed.

The hotel was nice. Room was clean, however the weekend was ruined for me by the differing attitudes of staff. I come from N Ireland which is part of the uk and I use banknotes which are issued by banks there. They are clearly marked sterling but on Friday afternoon the staff (one in particular) refused saying the local post office refused to accept them. I. Went to the local post office and they did accept them. I obtained a receipt and went back and showed it to her but she still refused to accept this. Later that evening after a change of staff they did accept the notes,however on Saturday evening they again refused to take them. This was embarrassing and humiliated me in front of my friends. I had to go and transfer funds to a card and present that. I was over for a weekend of reflection with my friends and this experience totally ruined it.

I had a cozy night at the pub. The room had a view of the beer garden in the back, but it was a bit noisy. The room was nice with a comfy bed and a decent bathroom. There was a tiny bit of dampness in the room, but it wasn’t too bad. The breakfast was okay, with a decent spread that was included in the price.

Stayed overnight with multiple family members, again great value for money. Stayed in the main building this time. Breakfast was great, arrived a bit at a time but when there are 10 of you better that than having cold food. Staff as always couldn't be more helpful

I stayed here on business for two nights, and it is highly recommended. I had a lovely welcome from Lisa who showed me to my room, yes it was compact but well Marina and spotless. Lovely bathroom, white fluffy towels and a bonus of aircon (much needed in this heatwave). I ate here one night, the service was great as was the food (I chose from the Indian selection). I have to say breakfast was delicious, cooked to order and great service. Will definitely return

Beautiful hotel.. friendly staff.. great breakfast..room has all amenities need for a comfortable stay .. overall a great place to stay..will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to others.. Walking distance to town centre and shopping complex..

We had a great stay in the Tamworth Arms. The hotelroom was cosy and had everything and more that you need. The included breakfast was delicious and came with good coffee. We also had dinner in the pub and this was very tasteful. They serve also high quality Indian food. The staff was amazing and very friendly. They have inside and outside tables and a private parking behind the pub. The decoration inside was worth looking at.

Excellent value for money!
We were greeted by friendly and given directions to our room,No 10. On entering our room we found it to be spacious with a ‘huge’ bed. There was tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits and everything one would need for a comfortable stay. The en-suite was lovely and spacious with a great shower. The meal we had was excellent and all in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
