Please don’t book with hard rock; go to mgm instead. Our family was excited to come to Tampa and not only experience the ****** but also the surrounding community. We were thrilled to take advantage of the promotion (hotel stay/meal comps) but were quickly let down by Hard Rock. We called while in transit (30 mins before we arrived) to the hotel to make sure our reservation was still active and there would be no complications during check in. While entering, the hotel clerks were seen whispering and laughing at us, while walking up. Which made me and my son uncomfortable. Long story short, they gave our room away four hours before we arrived (due to them being busy that night) and put us in the opposite tower (west tower); in a room that could not accommodate everyone in our party. They also were deceitful about where the meal comps could be used. We are traveling with children so naturally they are anxious to go to the sugar factory. We were informed while booking the reservation that the meal comp could be used for all restaurants in the facility (but when we arrived we were told that was not the case). All in all, be careful making reservations with hard rock. Deceitful and does not respect customers integrity or time.

****** Free Play is a joke, takes thousands of play to get a $20 credit, Bonus round pays $10. Players club and Hard Rock Bet cannot resolve issues. Comps are nearly impossible to achieve. $9 beer. Where do the millions of dollars annually go? Too many employees standing around doing nothing.

Stayed for one night recently. New east tower suite was nice and spacious. Huge bathroom with giant shower and a good size tub. Comfortable bed and seating areas. Only negative about the room is there were no tv channel options to play music. It’s the Hard Rock! All others I have been to had this option as it’s nice to be able to have music on in the background. Council of Oak Steakhouse was great. Great service and great food. Every person we encountered was very nice. I asked two people different times if they knew where a shot machine was and they actually walked me all the way there. Table minimums were $5 or $10 for a somewhat busy weekday night. No issues there. Valet was very fast both for drop off and pick up. It seems that if you stay at the hotel the valet isn’t automatically charged to your room and we needed to pay the fee when we went to get the car. No biggie but would have preferred it could have just been added to the room which they said they could not do. Only negative was there is a small store to get soda, snacks etc. They required ID to charge to the room. That was the only place that did. Wanted a soda in the morning and didn’t have my ID or cash so they wouldn’t let me charge to room. Everywhere else for lots of money they just needed the room number and name. No big deal but kinda odd.

Well first of all the cigarette smoking is totally ridiculous. Not enough ventilation! I wear a cologne that is over 3 hundred dollars a bottle and I smelled like an ashtray the whole time. They also should have designated areas from smoking. Secondly I felt like I was in the dungeon! They put me in a room right next to the pool and when you looked out of the window, you were looking at a nasty ground. They had a dj blasting the music at the pool early and it was all in my room. I was very disappointed! My door wouldn’t shut properly unless you let it slam.

My husband and I had an emergency on our way to the hotel and never ended up making it. We reached out for some kind of a refund and they wouldn’t do anything for us. We will never be staying here!!!!!!
