La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham USF (Near Busch Gardens)

Upon entering our room, we were shocked by its condition. We encountered multiple housekeeping and maintenance issues that were both unsanitary and unacceptable. These included: • Nail clippings left behind from previous guests • Peeling paint • Significant wear and calcium buildup on bathroom fixtures • Mold in the bathroom and windows • A rusted alarm clock • Damaged and worn furniture • Rusted door hinges • A shower that only dispensed scalding hot water Given that the front desk had already indicated there was no manager or maintenance staff available until the next day, we felt there was no point in raising our concerns during the night. We did our best to rest and vacated the property early the next morning. We have documented these issues with photographs and would be happy to share with hotel's corporate office for their review. It is evident that this room does not meet the quality or safety standards expected from a Wyndham-affiliated property. If this property is undergoing renovations, we would expect that rooms in substandard condition would be taken out of service until they are properly refurbished. We hope that this feedback helps the property address these issues promptly so that future guests do not encounter a similar experience.

Dirty Dirty Dirty!!!! Dead bugs in shower, live bugs in bed. Sheets and comforters all stained. Shower was scalding hot even after being switched rooms. AC barely worked. Waffle makers dirty at opening of breakfast and juice had black particles floating in them. Loud construction workers early in the morning. ***** allowed in communal areas while staff just let it happen. Would not recommend at all!

Room extremely clean. Bed too hard for us but that's personal preference. Good coffee. Didn't eat breakfast but it was out and ready. Hotel fairly quiet. We appreciate the medical discount they offer for cancer patients going to Moffitt. It's only 5 min. away. You must book direct with hotel, not call center. We have been staying here frequently for 3 years.

Clean room and great bed. The staff was very polite, good simple breakfast. Hallway carpets are absolutely filthy. I hope kids don’t crawl in those carpets without their vaccine. Plenty of hot water, in room coffee, cable tv, missing a fan in the bathroom and really needs one. Weird double doors to bathroom. Ac blows cold, it was set to 67 and was comfortable

Dirty and old. Needs to be maintained better. All the carpet in the lobby, hallway and room looks like it's never been cleaned. Door to the bathroom was falling off and wouldn't close all the way. Bed was old and worn out. This hotel is in dire need of an overhaul. Not worth the price I paid for the night.

The staff at the front desk were very helpful and nice. I appreciate the excellent customer service.
