Shame that the accomodation options in this beautiful town are at this poor level. Not worth the price in any way. Someone should dare to invest at least in renovating these places. Ok, the winter season is probably quiet, but the town deserves much better.

A motel clearly originally from 70's. A great location near the seaside and the town centre. The rooms were not that confy: a two-person room with one bed and one bed sofa. A fridge, small TV, french balcony facing the yard. Breakfast was quite basic, no thrills.

The best pepper steak I have had in years. We have had it on a number of occasions and always excellent. The service is fast and friendly and we always feel as VIP guests. The restaurant looks from the outside as something you would not expect to have such excellent food as they have.

The room was clean and had all of the things you need (kettle, fridge, towels etc). We had a 'suite' with two bedrooms so there was enough space for us and separate small kitchen area. The breakfast was shockingly bad - I looked at it and just didn't have any for my entire stay. You're better off just buying bread and eggs and making it in your room (if you have a kitchenette). The worst part was the horrifically uncomfortable bed. The mattress was so terrible, the bed was visibly concave to look at. I got maybe 4 hours sleep a night & now I'm home, my back still hurts. Would have been better to sleep on the floor. The place could be so amazing. Great location and nice staff - if only they just updated it. They've been able to get away with running the place like this bc very little competition in Ekenas. Now a new hostel has opened, they'll probably start losing business and maybe that will make them change. The bed was so bad, for that reason alone I wouldn't stay there again.

Decent size room and location but cleaning very poor. Only after we complained there was an improvement including changing a grubby shower curtain. Not much choice at breakfast. Lots of potential to be a really good motel but need to train cleaners to improve standards and need more breakfast choice.
