Hidden gem Great stay, lovely hotel in a historic building. Comfortable, clean and spacious room. Good breakfast selection and really nice hosts. All at a reasonable cost.

Fantastic service from these folks! Fantastic place and exceptional service. Only stayed one night but was a very nice experience. The hotel staff even got me out of a tight pinch when all taxis were unavailable due to the strike from Deutsche Bahn. Can't thank you all enough. Will definitely visit again should I need to go to Markgröningen for another surgery. A high recommended.

We were very impressed with our accommodations and the personal attention that David and his wife Ines showed us. Don’t skip the breakfast as it was excellent!

I stayed here for 2 nights on the way back to the UK from Bavaria and Austria. The hotel is housed in what was the town hall, it's over 500 years old so is quirky and nog like a modern hotel. The room was spacious with a nice table and seating area, clean and comfortable. I had views to the church and high street. The church bells ring on the hour, it didn't worry me but if you are a light sleeper you might want ear plugs. Breakfast was really nice with a good selection. The location is very peaceful in a village, but an easy drive or train journey into Ludwigsburg and Stuttgart. The restaurant downstairs is excellent, serving a good range of food including local Schwabian meals. Dave an Ines are excellent hosts, very welcoming. Overall, an excellent stay.
