We booked a 4 day and 3 night stay at Inotawa Lodge and had a wonderful time. Marcelo was our guide and exceptional. His ability to spot the smallest creature on the night hike to the sloths and birds high in the trees was amazing and a true talent. He was patient with our 7 yr old. Answering all of her questions and listening to her animal facts. His depth of knowledge on not only the animals but the Amazon, fruits and local information was great. In addition to Marcelo, the staff at the lodge was very welcoming and warm. The food was amazing. Fresh and flavorful. The fresh fruit juices were wonderful!

We fully enjoyed our stay at INOTAWA ecolodge. The staff was super friendly. The bungalows are a bit simple, but absolutely acceptable from being in the Amazon jungle. Our guide (Jungle) Paul made the INOTAWA experience absolutely fantastic. The knowledge he shared and the ability to spot wildlife was really spectacular. Thanks INOTAWA - we will recommend you.

Inotawa Lodge is a hidden gem along the Tambopata River in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon. The experience goes beyond the breathtaking nature—it’s the people who truly make it special. Our tour guide Joaquim was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, making every jungle walk and boat ride unforgettable. Victor, our skilled boat captain, navigated the river with ease, and Patcho brought so much warmth and character to the team. The entire staff was amazing—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Inotawa is more than just a lodge; it feels like home in the heart of the rainforest.

Authentic Amazon experience. Great staff and guide. Very attentive, offer included excursions. Joaquin is a top man! He went beyond the call of duty. We managed to catch some piranha and they were delicious, not something one can do at home.

Lodge far below expectations and poorly maintained. Food poor quality and without any choice. Rooms infested with rats and cockroaches (I do not mention the many spiders because I consider them in their natural environment), nails coming out of the wooden structures, no maintenance. Light and electricity only 3 hours a day from 6pm to 9pm - 9.30pm maximum, for the rest you are always in the dark even in the room or in the common areas. Regarding excursions, unfortunately there is very little fauna and the probability of seeing animals is really very very low. I do not recommend it.
