We recently stayed at the Muir Woods Lodge in Mill Valley, CA, and had a great experience. We chose this hotel because it was small, quiet, and perfectly located between Sausalito and Stinson Beach—two spots we planned to explore during our trip. When we arrived, we were initially assigned a room on the second floor. Since we were traveling with bikes, we asked if a first-floor room was available, and the staff was more than happy to accommodate our request. The room we moved into was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was being able to access the nearby bike path and ride straight to Sausalito for breakfast—such a scenic and easy ride. The lodge was a convenient base for all of our adventures, and we appreciated the quiet atmosphere after long days of exploring. If you're looking for a simple, friendly, and well-located place to stay in the Mill Valley area, we’d definitely recommend Muir Woods Lodge.

Clean, convenient, affordable. That’s how it started. Turns out, however, the room was totally charming. Had obviously been freshly painted. It was spotless. Brightly lit. Very ideal for a quick stay in the area.

Our stay was truly delightful from start to finish. The exterior of the property was very natural and beautifully maintained, truly a nice sight to behold as we arrived. We immediately felt welcomed into a wonderfully inviting environment, making us feel right at home. The surrounding scenery was absolutely breathtaking, offering stunning views at every turn. It was clear that great care is taken to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, which provided immense peace of mind throughout our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend this establishment for anyone seeking a peaceful and beautiful getaway.

Only had to stay for one night while traveling , but it was a decent room, facing the back woods area so woke up to a pretty landscape. Room was clean, bed was decent and close to attractuons and shopping
