Good hotel. Slightly outdated design, furniture and equipment, but everything is well maintained. Very clean. Great breakfast. Not far from the old town.

Located right in front of Viru Gate, the entrance to Tallinn's Old Town, the hotel offers panoramic views of the city from the higher floors. It's a very large hotel, attached to a shopping mall. There were no signs inside the mall, so it was difficult to find my way around on my first visit. The room was clean, and the breakfast was average.

Great location, the historic center is within walking distance in a few minutes. The property is clean and well maintained. The gym and spa are small compared to the number of guests, but still pleasant and included in the cost.

The Bern Boutique Hotel in Tallinn is an excellent choice for those seeking comfort and an unbeatable location. Its central location allows easy access to the city's main attractions. The rooms are cozy and well-equipped, ensuring a pleasant stay. One of the highlights of this hotel is its staff, always attentive and willing to help. In our case, we arrived early in the morning and were allowed early check-in, which was a great touch. Furthermore, the reception is open 24 hours a day, providing guests with peace of mind and flexibility.

The hotel has a great location in the old town so it’s very convenient and the design around the hotel is gorgeous and the rooms have antique furnishings. Maria is extremely helpful and polite when I checked in late after 5pm. Do note that there’s no kettle in the room but a shared kitchen at level 2, sadly when I wanted to use it, the kettle might have been taken by other guests. Will be great if each room can have a kettle or if there is a main water dispenser. The toilet seat is not securely fastened so be careful. The water in the bathroom can easy splash out as it’s a curtain shower for the standing shower. Room slippers, fragrant shower, shampoo, hair conditioner and shower caps are provided.

The rooms are clean and spacious, the location is good, and the surrounding transportation is convenient. Whether it is shopping, entertainment or exploring the beautiful scenery of the city, it is all within easy reach. The most surprising thing is the rich breakfast, with a variety of delicious foods, which will inject full vitality into your new day. Here, you will experience caring service, comfortable accommodation environment and delicious breakfast.

During my three-night stay, outside room 221, two extremely bright upward-facing spotlights downstairs were left on all night, which severely disrupted my sleep. Despite drawing the curtains completely shut, the light still penetrated the room. I informed the front desk and asked if they could suggest to the adjacent shop to switch off these lights during the night. The front desk staff replied dismissively, stating that 'These are not hotel facilities, and we have no control over them.' They then added, 'If we were to speak to the adjacent shop and they refused, that would be another matter entirely.' It's unacceptable that you didn't even bother to speak to them, directly dismissing a guest's legitimate concern. Every future guest will be plagued by this light pollution, which will inevitably lead to a gradual decline in the hotel's business.

Because I want to take a boat to Helsinki, I specially booked this hotel that is relatively close to the pier. Taking a bolt to the pier costs about 4 euros. In fact, there are several shopping malls near the hotel, including supermarkets and food courts. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the old town, which is very convenient. The front desk is courteous. When you check in, you will be given two hand straps, which you can use to bring into the swimming pool and sauna. The room is tidy and larger than expected. Our room is located on a high-rise building facing the inner street, so it is not noisy.
