The hotel is right opposite the pier. You can put down your luggage as soon as you get off the boat, and then you can easily walk to the old town. It is a very good choice for people who are just traveling.

In in general a excellent hotel for bring dogs and pets. But during the easter vacation the hotel was a bit expensive for the amenities that was not available i.e. the sauna Spa. The picture is the view from the hotel.

This can be considered a budget hotel but it serves its purpose well. It is a good 20-minute walk to the old town area but only a 5-10 minute walk to some nice restaurants and bars. So, if you are just planning on staying there for a short trip or sleep-over it is just fine. It is also extremely well located in you want to catch a ferry to one of the Nordic countries (btw, great ferries!!!). The rooms are very simple, clean but not spotless and the sleep quality is quite good. I heard stories of very loud neighbours but that luckily did not happen. As for breakfast, well, it is very bland with little variety and I was expecting a bit more but, for the price of the stay, it is acceptable. Would I stay here again, I would not mind especially if I had to catch a ferry once again.

Stayed for two nights. The rooms are clean but rather small. No emenities in the bathroom. Breakfast was good yet nothing special. The big plus was the distance (walking distance) from the ferry port to Helsinki Finland which we used. Staff was helpful.

The Hestia Hotel Seaport was just a glorious back packers. No tea making facilities in bedroom no restaurant and breakfast was very ordinary. I certainly made a blunder stating there - it was opposite the Ferry building but certainly not a place to stay as a discerning traveller. Staff were ok - that was the only positive.

The hotel was the worst we have encountered on our trip. Unkempt, dirty and the staff rude. When we arrived at the hotel, we found the room dirty and we called the reception and they told us that there was no one cleaning and that they couldn't change our room because the hotel was full. We took a series of photos to get a reason and the answer was, in a few words, that it is what it is.

When we went up to our room after a day of exploring Tallinn, we found hair in the bathroom and sink, and quite a lot of it. When we called, they told us that there was no staff to check the room and there was no possibility of changing it, since the hotel was full.
