Very nice hotel very kind and respectful I loved this hotel very clean and spacious.

Had to stay in Tallahassee for a few nights and this was a really good hotel if you’re just looking for somewhere nice and safe. The rooms are clean and well kept. The hotel itself is in a good and safe location and the staff is super friendly. Would recommend if you need somewhere to stay in Tallahassee for a few nights. It’s also close to a lot of food and shopping options.

Went to watch The Dawgs play in a regional. HAIL STATE!!! We won our first game and are ready to play our second. The hotel is relatively secluded and the staff is friendly and helpful. Very quiet and peaceful. Everything is clean and well ordered.

I read a lot of reviews but rarely leave one but given the situation resulting from staying here, I thought it was necessary. After staying one night at this hotel last week, I noticed bumps on my body. There were no bumps on my body when I left home and my husband doesn't have any bumps on his body so the only place I could've gotten them is from staying here. Since some of the bumps were big and red and some were in a sensitive location, I went to see the Nurse Practitioner. She told me that they were not bumps but bites. She said that In one place the bites are from bed bugs and the other place are bites from either bed bugs or possibly spiders. She told me to call the hotel and tell them that she told me to call them. I called the hotel yesterday and talked a young girl that answered the phone but the manager was not there. I told her what happened and she said that she would text the manager. After not hearing back from the manager after several hours, I called the 800 number for Choice hotels. I spoke with a lady and a manager who were courteous and kind and they offered points to compensate for what happened as they are not able to reimburse the night's stay. I declined the points offered and the manager said that he would escalate the ticket and suggested that I call the manager this morning. I just tried to call the manager but there was no answer at the hotel. What shocks me is that almost 30 hours after the original phone call to the hotel with the information about the problem, the manager has still not contacted me. It's sad that a hotel brand that I've loved, trusted and stayed at for years has handled this situation so poorly. As a result, my family and I will no longer stay at Choice hotels.

We stayed for one night. We found our room to be comfortable. There is ice available as you walk to the front desk. Breakfast was the standard offerings and sugar free maple syrup was available. Staff was very friendly. I would stay again if in the area.

I'd give this review 0 stars, but I do want to recognize the accommodating and sincere front desk staff. My concerns were more of the overall hotel and room itself. The lobby area and cafe area are nice, and seem recently remodeled. However, the rest of the hotel seems outdated and in disrepair. When we arrived for our 2 night stay, We noticed the floors were gross and seemed to have barely seen a Swiffer or a mop; our feet would be black from dirt if we didn't wear our shoes. You could also see that the corners that were easily accessible to a broom and mop were never touched in some time. The TVs had some damage to them from prior guests, and the kitchen area sink was leaking from base. We had to go down to front desk to get a new set of linens and mattress cover for the pull out couch as there was a yellow stain on it which looked like urine. There were no bed bugs, but noticed what looked like a cockroach that I killed scurrying along wall as I was eating dinner we brought back to room. The hallways and stairwells were similar; many stains and dirt on the carpet that looks like it had never seen a vacuum or carpet cleaner in some time. The stairwell by our room smelled of **** or some other similar putrid odor. We stayed at four other hotels during our Spring Break vacation and travels, and this hotel made us cringe. We were happy to checkout as quick as possible.
