We have stayed at many Hampton Inn locations throughout the years, and unfortunately this hotel has seen better days. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is the staff was all very nice and friendly, but the facility itself deserves 1 or 2 stars at best. It shows age, wear and tear, and overall does not feel clean. The shower took at least 3 minutes to warm up (up to 7 minutes on one occasion) and everything just felt unclean. The breakfast was standard Hampton fare, noting notable but sufficient to give you options for food. This location did give ample towels in the room which was nice as many hotels seem to skimp on how many towels they provide these days. Overall the location is very convenient to food (within walking distance) and if they spent some time and money updating the interior and giving it a refresh it would be a great location in the heart of downtown Tallahassee.

Hands down this is my best stay at any hotel. From staff to cleanliness to breakfast. I mean the total package. We travel for work and I saw the reviews for this hotel and had to stay here. Wow so glad we did cause from check in with Rowan to Breakfast with Mrs Stephanie to Check out with Janfrica was top notch. Met the GM who was friendly and welcomed us. The house keeping staff spoke and was very friendly. Everyone went above and beyond making this stay hands down our best yet. The breakfast was breath taking with Grits, Eggs, Sausage, Potatoes, Toast , Fruit and Yogurt.. Everything was so delicious and everyone was loving Mrs Stephanie's GRITS lol my husband included. I can't say enough good things about this place except you will have to come see for your self and you won't be disappointed. 😇
