Stayed here with family for one night while traveling back from Mississippi. To start off I was a bit disappointed with the check-in process here. We stood in line for roughly 25 minutes waiting to get checked in. After getting checked in we decided we would order room service after a long day of driving. Only to find out the phone in the room was not working. Nevertheless we called the front desk and they were able to help us get transferred to the restaurant. The food was okay, we enjoyed the mac and cheese bites and a pizza. Our 2 queen room was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. The location of this hotel would be great for anyone looking to enjoy the downtown Tallahassee area. It is in the heart of downtown very close to the capitol building. The hotel was a bit pricey in my opinion for the 2 queen room we stayed in compared to other hotels with similar features. Overall this hotel was clean and has good amenities as well as clean rooms. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay in the downtown Tallahassee area.

I really enjoyed my stay very friendly and attentive staff, very nice and clean room. The valet Dylan who greeted me upon arrival was professional and put me at ease after our 5hr drive in.

We travel often, but the service we received from Sam at the front desk truly stood out. Sam went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless, from a warm welcome at check-in to the hospitality from the phone calls prior to check-in. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made a lasting impression. Every hotel needs a “Sam” on their team!

Highly recommend this hotel when visiting the city. Sam White was very friendly and helpful during my stay, answering all questions I had. Clean room, no issues with noise which is a plus.

My wife stayed here on business. This is what she experienced: “AC was out in the Exercise Room and both treadmills were out of order. One of the elevators was having issues… my colleague was briefly stuck. Found a dirty sock in on the floor of my room.” The included images show a badly-chipped shower pan and completely worn-out chair in the guestroom. Someone from Hilton needs to inspect this property, as it is clearly not being run in accordance to their supposed standards.

Stayed one night one 10/25. I’ve stayed at the doubletree many years ago and decided to try it out again. I’ll start with the good…the parking was great on the weekends as you can park on the street no charge. Check in was a breeze. The location is great as you can walk to restaurants and only a couple minutes away from FAMU and FSU. The room was super clean. Now for the bad….the room itself is out dated and in need of repairs. The paint is chipping off the walls, the shampoo which usually hangs on the wall with the body wash and conditioner was ripped off the wall. The room itself is pretty dark, so more lighting would be ideal. The a/c when blowing cold air sounds like a jet is taking off in the room. My son and I had the buffet breakfast the next morning. Don’t do it. The food isn’t worth the $28 + 22% forced gratuity. The waitress was nice though!

This is a nice hotel in a great location, if you are ever visiting Tallahassee. The room was nice and the hotel is well maintained overall. However, the breakfast buffet was REALLY bad and they actually charge $28 for it. I’ve had free breakfast at Holiday Inn Express that was way better. If you’re going to serve such a bad breakfast, at least have the decency not charge for it.

Had an amazing experience here a few years back and was happy to see the prices were reasonable so I booked for move in week. While the room was clean, it was dated and needed much work. Peeling ceilings, worn decor etc. customer service was good. Except, the pool had no clean towels, no shade, and the pool was DIRTY. Pictures look so nice on the website but deceiving and it leaves much to be desired. Won’t be staying here again. It’s a shame they don’t put some effort into keeping this place nicer.
