The hotel appears to be an older building with a very recent renovation. Some improvements look good and you can tell they skipped some items on decor and functionalities. The check in was good, staff was friendly and efficient. Even offered local suggestions. The barista in the lobby was very sweet and made specialty coffee well. Lobby area was nice with new furniture, it was clean and well organized with plenty of options for groups to meet. The cleanliness of the sleeping room was not great. Dust is many places, mold in the bathroom shower and water spots on the ceiling. Bathroom floor has an odd residue that made the floor slippery. The floor wasn’t cleaned all the way to the edges, the baseboards were dirty and full of dust. There were sheets missing from the bed, there was no mattress pad or liner. There were little hairs in under the comforter. The balcony was extremely dirty. Housekeeping staff in hallway avoids eye contact and doesn’t greet guests when waking by. Desk was full of dust. It’s a double desk, rollout. Tissue box was empty in the bathroom. Plugs next to the bed are loose and can’t hold the plug in it. The lighting in the room wasn’t good, room was very dark.

We had an issue with the drain in the shower, however, it was cleared up very quickly. Do not get an adjoining room if you want a quiet night because the walls are paper-thin. The breakfast is ridiculously expensive for the food provided. We would never use this service again.
