房間比較大,暖氣也足,床和枕頭都還算舒服,就是衞生一般。洗澡水不是很沖。洗臉盆在衞生間外面,比較方便。停車免費。

Our room was sub par. We were traveling with Viking Cruises. Filthy mirror , no shower gell & we had to call maintenance to get our window open. I mean for the price this company charges, can I get just the basics?

We stayed here as part of a cruise line's land tour. When we arrived, the staff brought our bags to the room quickly. room was very clean and comfortable. It was cool when we visited, so we just opened the window and didn't need AC. The room had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable. We did use the guest laundry, and aside from having to make change to use the machines, it was very convenient and fast. The hotel has several dining options in-house. The only one we used was the coffee bar in the morning, and their service was fast and efficient. We did take advantage of the hotel's shuttle van into Talkeetna in the evening. The last pickup was at 9:45 PM which was fine for us.

Gorgeous lodge with fantastic Denali views from the back deck! Was probably my favorite lodging facility on this trip.

This hotel was okay for a night. The weather was terrible (certainly not the hotels fault), I'm sure there was a view but we couldn't see anything due to clouds and rain. It is far from town and the shuttle into town had a line that would take a wait of 3 shuttle trips to get to you. They charged us $24 for 3 small bags from the train upon our arrival. No other hotel we stayed at during our Alaska trip charged for this service. Beware, there is NO A/C in the rooms only a fan. It did cool down enough at night with the rain and our window open to be comfortable with only the fan. If you are there during a hot spell, it would not be comfortable for me. This stay was booked for us by a tour company so I'm not sure what else is in town. We did not eat any meals here.

We stayed at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge through an ABD Alaskan tour. The best way I can describe this place is as a very clean Motel 6 with beautiful surroundings. The rooms have no A/C and are stuffy despite fans. The in-room furnishings are all cheap wood and Formica, circa 1990, which was very unexpected given the hype. However, it was clean, and despite the heat, the beds and pillows were comfortable. The worst aspect was the customer service in the restaurant. The female Indian hostess at Base Camp Bistro provided possible the worst customer service I have ever experienced. She immediately asked us to sit in the lobby or at the bar to "help the servers." Readers, there were over a dozen empty tables in the restaurant, with most guests being seated in the lobby or at the high bar tables. We declined and asked to sit in the restaurant. She then was obviously annoyed with us, and gestured to a table immediately behind the hostess stand. Again, we asked to be sat further back in the restaurant where there were many many empty tables. At this point, a kind waiter intervened and directed us to a better table. The hostess told us our breakfast vouchers were only good for the buffet (which was not true), and the buffet had not been replenished at 8am, with most of the dishes only 15-25% full. The waitstaff were lovely, but this hostess should be retrained or fired. Others in our tour group also remarked at how poorly they were treated by her, with one couple describing an argument with her for trying to order off the menu after the restaurant manager had told them it was fine to do so. This couple was so shocked at the hostess' aggressive reaction that they just ignored her after that. So, to sum it all up, this hotel is really the only game in town so a lot of their custom comes from tour groups or folks that just want the best option in the area. The lobby is nice, with a general "lodge" feel, but the rooms are cheap, un-themed and shabby. It's clean, but that's the highest recommendation i can give. For the price, I would avoid.

Amazing place with an upscale rustic woodsy charm. The lobby is impressive with two story wood beams and that opens up to the viewing deck of Mt McKindley (30% of the time)! There are two restaurants, one more upscale than the other. The “core” one is the Base Camp Bistro (right off the front desk). This bar/restaurant gets inconsistent reviews for service, but we had a great time (beware of the busloads of cruisers as they can flood the restaurant and cause the wait time issues)! The bartenders are great (Darren and Rashon). The town is 1.7 miles away and very walkable, but the free shuttle is the go-to move. Rooms are very nice with a big mini fridge. Amazing 12 ft Grizzly in the lobby! Nice gift shop - but pricey. I think the toilets need to be bigger and the loo does need an exhaust fan. Also, there is no AC here - that said, we opened the window and popped on the fan (in August) and we were cool/cold! If The Mountain is out, the view is amazing. If not, come back again! VictorB

On outside very impressive complex, lobby is beautiful, rooms are very poor, staff on the reception is nice, all the other not really friendly, mostly ignorant. After a long day we could not get table in any of their restaurants, not possible to make reservation and on the evening was full. So we have to search around the downtown last minute. At breakfast is chaos, the line was 10 meters long, we didn’t have time to wait in a line, thankfully there is a small bar where you can buy food for takeaway. Mass tourism.
