Staying at Olare Mara was truly a magical experience. The camp grounds are beautiful and kept incredibly clean. The luxury tents are very spacious and comfortable, and include a lovely bathroom with both a shower and bathtub. The views from the tents are amazing. We were able to see giraffes and hippos from our open flaps. Our room attendant, Peter made everything so nice for us. He even sewed up our suitcase that was ripped during our trip there. The restaurant offered so many great options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (plus drinks). And the quality of the food was incredible. Hezron and Kelvin were so good to us during each meal. They remembered our preferences and were so fun to get to know. The game drives were an unforgettable experience. Dominic was an amazing guide. We felt incredibly lucky to get him for all of our drives. He was so fun and personable, and was able to find everything we wanted to see. We loved hearing about all the animals from him, as he was super knowledgeable about everything. In addition to Peter, Hezron, Kelvin, and Dominic…Leaky, Moses, and all of the other staff were so wonderful to us as well. Including the guards who walked to and from our tents when the sun was down. We felt so safe the entire time. We cannot say enough great things about this resort. Highly recommend.

Olare Mara Kempinski is an exceptionally clean and comfortable place to stay. The staff are incredibly kind, offering warm hospitality and wonderful surprises throughout the stay. The safari experience was fantastic—they put great effort into finding a variety of animals, providing detailed explanations, and ensuring we had the best possible viewing positions. The selection of drinks and menu options was extensive, and every meal was delicious, making each day a delight. One of the highlights was being able to soak in a bathtub while on safari—an unforgettable luxury! Even the other guests were friendly, adding to the overall atmosphere and making this trip truly memorable. I highly recommend Olare Mara Kempinski to anyone looking for an extraordinary safari experience.

Located in the middle of the national park, the hotel offers multiple game safaris per day. The food quality and room cleanliness is at the level of a five-star hotel. It was a wonderful experience of both exciting wild nature and relaxing in a comfortable resort.

Wonderful experience. Stylish and well-equipped large tents, cosy sitting & dining area, immersed-in-nature pool, tasty meals prepared by Chef Kevin, and incredible game drives. Our guide Erick Sadera was amazing. He made sure we experienced all kinds of encounters, and delighted us with stories of the wild. We cannot thank him enough. Great place to go for a short expertly curated safari. We saw elephants lions giraffes cheetahs and leopard as well as many other. Dancun our guide had us laughing for the trip as well as expertly guiding us We got up close to most animals and conservancy is quiet compared to many national parks Moses Ben and Kelvin are great in bar and restaurant and you must try the spa. Linet is great therapist.

The wild life was amazing with lions, 1,000 zebra at one sighting, cheetahs, hippopotamus swimming in the river, ten one sighting, gazelle, topi, wart hog, Herds of buffaloes Glam tents are extremely comfortable with showers and toilets and all the mod cons. Knowledge of animals and the Masai people was exceptional. Food was of international standard and staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here. All camps are different but this is worth a visit.

I have stayed here many times, the staff, service and food are great. The place is just looking tired. The WiFi was dreadful, it has never been good but on this visit it was hopeless and I couldn't complete some work I needed to do, I actually checked out a day early even though it meant it cost me a night I didn't use. The other issue are the safari vehicles, they are terrible, very rusty, and the passenger door either wouldn't open or after they tried to fix it, it flew open when we went over bumps. I have been trying to get them to fix the door lock for over 3 years that I have been visiting. I am sad to have to give the place such a poor review, I have spent many happy times there, the staff deserve more, the owners just need to spend some money!

Lovely hotel and setting. There is a river along side it and we saw hippopotami in it. Such amazing animals. Also on the property we saw vervet monkeys, hammerkop and its huge nest, and at night saw a bush baby ❤️ The room was well kitted out and so spacious and comfortable. Staff so hospitable and attentive. We even had a sunset cocktail hour looking over the plains. Food delicious and varied- one night dinner out under the stars. The sky so close and stars so very bright. Our safari driver Rafael was so good. Kept us safe and we saw incredible animals. If you are a light sleeper, bring some earplugs as sometimes the hippos are noisy at night.
