Olare Mara Kempinski Masai Mara

Olare was really special…everything exceeded expectations from the beautiful tents (which offer privacy and wildlife…we were greeted by a hyena 15 ft from the tent, as well as hippos and a younger male lion and lioness), the main lodge was great meeting spot for the drives each day, the most important part of the experience was the staff. Dominic and the entire team spoiled us and went out of their way to make each moment there special. Shout out to Duncan our guide for three days, he would not give up until we saw a leopard - which we found on the last drive…amazing scene with an impala that was just killed and pulled up into the tree. We saw three male Lions that came into the conservancy from Mara and battled the resident male (one of the Mara brothers was injured in the fight) - we saw a Cerval which is rare, just everything was so amazing as first time safari people, we were in awe of the place and the wildlife that was abundant and also part of Olare where they have no fences - as the staff says, it’s the animals place, we are just here in their world. The food was great every meal, the team Hezron Benson and Kelvin (hope I spelled that correctly) took care of us the entire time…great guys and great service. The chef and the whole team in the kitchen take pride in their food and it shows - every meal was top notch. They also surprised us for our anniversary with a song and a cake! The hospitality and the friendship we had while there was special and we hope we can return again in the future.

Staying at Kempinski Olare Mara was truly the most beautiful and unforgettable experience of my life. From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by breathtaking nature, impeccable service, and genuine hospitality. Every game drive felt like a dream, every meal was exceptional, and every member of the team made me feel so welcome and cared for. This is not just a lodge — it’s a sanctuary where luxury meets the wild in the most magical way. I’ll cherish every memory and can’t wait to return. Thank you for an experience beyond words.

The staff is amazing! Everyone is so nice and attentive. The tents are great, very spacious and clean. We saw 4 of the Big 5 (there are no rhinos in Masai Mara). We even spotted a leopard! Every day the staff of the hotel prepared a surprise, bush dinner, sun downer etc. Amazing!! The decor of the hotel is like the african movies, it was the safari experience I’ve always hoped for!

Our trip turned out to be more than expected. The services were impeccable, starting from the air ***** pickup down to every detail within the camp. Definitely an exclusive & extraordinary experience. Our guide Rafael was too kind, engaging & walked us through all the aspects during game drives. The room service & cleaning attendant Paul was spot on. The food was curated to meet our dietary requirements & exquisite. The chef, Kelvin, Hezron & Moses were efficient, kind & hospitable. The Manager Leaky was very understanding & accomodating. Lastly the guides who ensured our safety at night from the tents to the dining area; they are heroes . Would recommend 10/10.

We created the most incredible memories that will last a lifetime. The customer service was outstanding - met our special requests with a can-do attitude. Our driver was remarkable. He was fantastic and really made the trip fun and a real adventure. I would highly recommend this property!

We visited the Masai Mara as a multi family of 8 and decided to stay at Olare Mara Kempinski. It was the best decision!!!! Once you get there, everything is included in the price. The hotel has no fence so you are right in the middle of nature: animals come into camp all the time. Every single person in the staff is fantastic!!!! They are so accommodating, even changing the menu for us. From our guides to the person who cleaned our rooms to the chef …they are all ready to help and with a smile in their faces. Our guides were amazing!!!!! So knowledgeable, always going above and beyond to provide the experience we wanted and to find the animals. They also explained a lot of the cultural characteristics of the Mara tribe. We had a great experience. Even though we arrived early in the morning, they gave us our rooms right away and on checkout day, they let us stay in our rooms until it was time to leave even though we left late afternoon Highly recommended!!!
