From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations. The resort is absolutely beautiful, our room was stunning, and waking up each morning to watch the sunrise from our private pool was an experience we’ll never forget. It felt like the perfect escape from city life. What really sets this resort apart, however, is the incredible staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay special. A special thank you to Tom Cruise, one of our buggy drivers, who always greeted us with such kindness and made us feel so welcome. We were genuinely disappointed that we didn’t get the chance to say goodbye before we left. I also have a nut allergy, and the level of care the team showed was exceptional. They provided me with an allergy card to present at restaurants, and when they made a reservation for us at the neighbouring resort, they had already informed the restaurant about my allergy. It was such a thoughtful touch that made me feel safe and well looked after. This is true five-star hospitality. Thoughtful, attentive, and effortless from start to finish. We’ve had nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Beautiful resort. I stayed in a villa - it’s spacious, clean, and nicely designed. The location is convenient, right off the village. There is a restaurant just opposite called the Gold Elephant that I really liked. The dinner in the resort is very expensive so I didn’t try it. The breakfast was good - the kitchen looks amazing. But the selection was personally not my favourite. The coffee station was fabulous though: locally roasted coffee, and the gentleman remembered my order too, as did the host remember my room number - nice touches 😇 The room was lovely - the bedding was so soft and comfortable. Only complaint about the room is that the aircon was not the strongest, and the room is not very well insulated (single-glazed windows, gap around door). The location of the resort being right on the beach is delightful - you can always catch the sunset. The gym was honestly a bit small. If you can get by with just weights and a few machines, you’ll be fine, but an open training space and a multi-use cable machine + barbells would have been great. The space was usually in use by a few guests.

Such a beautiful hotel! The rooms are really cozy, and the view is absolutely stunning! From our room, we could see the pool, garden, sea, and even the jungle. The beach is great, and there are several pools to choose from. Breakfast is served outdoors, which isn't super comfortable in the heat, but it's quite varied with lots of fruit. I do wish they'd upgrade the fitness center to be more modern and add more equipment. Other than that, everything was superb. It's conveniently located close to town with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, yet the area itself is very quiet.

The hotel is a 7-minute walk from the beach. I enjoyed walking to Nang Thong Beach along a dirt road through the abandoned hotel grounds and forest. There you'll see hens and chicks, roosters, cows, and coconut palms. Breakfasts are monotonous. The rooms are large and spacious. There's plenty of seating—two rattan armchairs, two chairs, and a stool—a rarity in Thailand. There's a large TV where you can watch your own movies from a USB drive. There's hot water! I loved everything.

Overall a small excellent hotel. Very welcoming staff. Interesting breakfasts. A stunning orange fridge and magnificent coffee. Very striking the presence of a full refrigerator with a freezer. The room is equipped with a toilet machine. Our rest was a little corrupted by the following: The dirty ceramic floor in the room. Plastic glasses and fuses. There was no jacuzzi in our room and no hot water. No one solved this problem during the stay.

I had a nice stay at Khao Lak Marriott Resort & Spa overall. The resort is quite new, clean, and beautifully designed, with plenty of space to relax. I also really liked the variety of activities available, so you can easily spend most of the day at the resort without having to go out. The service was generally good. Most of the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful, and I felt well taken care of. The breakfast was also good, with a decent variety of food, and the breakfast team provided very attentive service. There are a few small things that could be improved. I arrived quite late at night, and the check-in process was a little slow. The reception team seemed slightly confused at first, and I also noticed that some staff at Reception were wearing slippers during the night, which felt a little unusual compared with the more professional appearance during the daytime. Keeping the grooming standard consistent at Reception would help create a better first impression. Other than these minor points, I enjoyed my stay. Overall, it’s a good resort for a relaxing getaway, with nice rooms, a pleasant atmosphere, good facilities, and plenty of activities. Not perfect, but overall a pleasant experience and somewhere I would consider staying again.

Great price, and the accommodation is right on the main road. I called ahead to check in early, and the staff were excellent, very smiley. The housekeeper had even turned on the air conditioning for me. The room was spacious, as was the bathtub. The bathroom water pressure was good and strong, and the shower was fantastic. The only slight issue was a faint smell in the bathroom because the water didn't drain properly; the floor wasn't sloped towards the drain. The bed was huge, and they provided plenty of pillows. However, the pillows were quite firm and dense, so if you prefer softer pillows like I do, you might need to find a comfortable position to sleep in. Breakfast was à la carte, with traditional pork congee that you could order more of, plus one glass of a brewed drink. There was also a small buffet with some Thai dishes. The food was delicious.

Great Hotel right next to the Kokotel Lightouse. While the seascape itself does not have amenities besides an open lobby, one can use everything from the Lighthouse Hotel (Pool, Sunbeds etc). We stayed in both. If you are traveling on a Budget and/or are fine with a spacious but not super large room, the Seascape is perfect. Aircon, bed, cleanliness etc. everything is fine. The Lightouse is more modern, even has a big hot water reservoir in the Bathroom so you can shower super hot if wanted, large Balconies and better views, so both hotels have their advantages and are very good value for the money paid. We would stay in both again, but prefer the lightouse a bit because of the views. :)

I had an absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel team went above and beyond to arrange a special room setup for my trip, and everything was perfect from start to finish. Khaolak Wanaburee Resort is an ideal place for those who appreciate nature, comfort, and tranquility. Pros: The hotel boasts a large, well-maintained area with a beautiful landscape design. It has everything: direct beach access, a picturesque stream, and even a lake. The rooms are very clean, modern, and truly meet the standards of a 5-star hotel. Daily housekeeping ensures impeccable cleanliness. The charming bridges connecting different parts of the property add a special touch. Walking across them feels like being in untouched jungles. The beach is well-equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, and there’s a cozy beachside café nearby where you can have lunch or dinner while enjoying the sea view. The resort’s territory is full of life: you’ll see many butterflies and even friendly monitor lizards wandering around, adding to the tropical paradise vibe. Cons: Breakfasts could be more varied, especially in terms of fresh pastries. Good to know: The nearest 7/11 or town café is about a 15-minute walk away (there’s a sidewalk). If you prefer not to walk, a taxi costs 100 baht. The closest self-service laundry is a 15-minute drive away (400 baht). Overall, Khaolak Wanaburee Resort is a perfect choice for those looking to relax in harmony with nature while enjoying comfort and quality service. Highly recommended!
