Beyond Khaolak

The room size is big and spacious , but the furniture was rather old , need to renovate . Service wise was good and the surrounding is tranquil.

Another wonderful stay at Beyond, our favourite resort on the beach. All the staff are great, Hat, Alma, Chai, Por, Leila, pool boys, so many to name them all, but everyone of them do a great job, reception staff welcomed us back, our villa was perfect, as usual, all of our meals were good. Great pools. The only concern for us was access onto the beach, it was pretty much impossible for me this year, even if sandbags could be used to make steps down it would be a great help, we were told repairs will begin after high tides recede. Anyway thank you for another great stay.

We booked a fully inclusive package through Luxury Escapes. We went in September so it was the rainy season but it didn’t last long & there were a number days it didn’t rain at all. This resort went way beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived we felt the warmth of the staff & when we saw our villa, we knew it was going to be an exceptional holiday. (I will add that the bed was quite hard but after speaking with reception, we were given a matress topper. I had read this on a trip advisor review so knew it would be sorted). We arrived at the resort before lunch & were able to utilise the amenities & enjoy lunch & drinks straight away. The cocktail & drinks menu included in the package was amazing. There were so many cocktails to choose from that we decided to go through the list. Not a great idea on the first day. 😅 The meals were good & as I have a number of food issues, the chefs did their best to modify mine to suit. I was greeted at breakfast each day with my own gluten free delicious warm roll & a couple of little cakes. I really appreciated this. We had most meals at the Beach Bar. It’s very casual & good food. We ate at MOF one night which was also very good. The pools were situated on the beach & there were plenty of sun lounges with umbrellas. There was also a pool bar which was very convenient. The beach was great but the waves were a bit strong. Apparently September is stinger season but we didn’t see any. There were places to get a massage as well as restaurants & bars along the beach. We met some wonderful people who are still in contact with. We all chipped in to get a maxi taxi to the market on two occasions. The resort has a shuttle bus but we wanted the freedom to choose the time we went & came back. We did not encounter any staff member that wasn’t friendly & helpful. Our stand outs were Hat, Ynna, Clarissa, Laila & Chai. We were very drawn to Hat & Ynna. They both went above & beyond in looking after us & making sure we had all we need. Bottom line this was a fantastic holiday & incredible value for money. We highly recommend this resort.

We stayed on a Luxury Escapes all inclusive package. This is an adults only resort and was extremely peaceful. We especially liked having dinner at the beach restaurant with cocktails watching the sun set. Stayed in a Pool Villa Elite which has a large pool and grassed area in the walled off villa, well worth the extra cost. The range of cocktails offered was excellent unlike other luxury escapes packages which we have had and only offered a limited range. Motown on Fire food was excellent although not in the luxury escapes package, you were offered a 30% discount on the price. Breakfast was the usual resort style breakfast. Overall a nice resort with the standout being the friendly staff who could not do enough for you. We will return.

We stayed for 10 nights at beyond Khao Lak with a Luxury Escapes all inclusive voucher. The voucher was outstanding value for money. The resort is gorgeous. Positioned right on pak weep Beach. The beach is beautiful and at low tide you can walk for a very long way. There are two small rivers one on each side of the resort so low tide is the best/only time to cross across the river and on the right hand side you will find some fabulous restaurants and an amazing beachside massage run by Mr. Eek. The resort is so peaceful. The pools are fabulous and situated right on the beach our package which was fully inclusive included cocktails which were great to drink at the swim up bar. Staff at the restaurant were absolutely amazing. Led by the very impressive Alma, Clarissa and tu were also outstanding. Customer service at its very very best we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The staff are a fantastic asset to the resort. Great food with a mix of Thai and Westin for you to choose from. The buffet breakfast also fabulous too. If you’re looking for adventure, you will need to grab a tuk tuk or the shuttle into town or to the market both of which are great to explore Overall beyond Khao Lak is definitely a place for rest and relaxation. It’s set in beautiful tranquil surrounds, with stunning wildlife and a great location. This Makes it a beautiful retreat from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. We loved our stay and for sure we will be back again .
