It has a serene beautiful outdoor space overlooking an expansive ocean. The ocean is clean and safe to use the beach. The accommodation was old and needed a renovation. The AC in some of the Travel club members rooms were not working. The food is great, However, it takes a long time for it to be ready. Some staff were nice but overall there is room for improvement. The location is beautiful but it needs major renovation. We had tourist sites at Bisa Abrewa Museum (Great place), dinner at the tribe restaurant and Tilapia and Acheke at 227. We went there in March 2023

Africa Beach Resort is located in a beautiful part of Takoradi, however unfortunately the customer service is simply not at level for a resort. I have been twice. Once on a slow day with less than 5 customers and more recently when the resort was at capacity. Both times the stall were not eager to greet us. I had to follow up my drink and food orders. I don’t mind paying for access of the pool but yesterday they didn’t even have enough towels but still wanted me to pay full price (40 cedis). I was waiting for the change but the man never came. The food was average and I would recommend they have some local dishes available. I’d only go back because the resort is close to my family house, however their are much nicer places in the area.

This beach hotel is the worst experience I have had in Takoradi. The waiter was rude and very hostile. The food was horrible and we all (4 people) got sick after eating the food, fried rice and fish. Also the pizza was bad. All got sick from the food in this hotel The price was exorbitant, too Peter Kwesi, Takoradi

The standard room was clean and comfortable but while there - two nights - I enjoyed the pool and good cuisine. However, every call I made from there was cut off and I had no access whatsoever to the internet during my visit there. I left for another hotel where I hoped to get reliable internet access.
