Haimurubushi

The view and the room were great! The only time I rented a cart was when I went to the beach. The bath was only a 3-minute walk from the room, so I was able to move around the premises without renting one. There was a shuttle bus to the beach, and a shuttle to the izakaya. Some activities were fully booked, and some days they couldn't be held, so my plans were ruined. I wish they would increase the number of times and schedule a few more. I'd like a plan that lets you plan your schedule for the day. The customer service was great! You have to make a reservation for the shuttle bus to the beach, but they were happy to accept it even if it was unexpected.

The room is large and comfortable, with a big Sony TV. Outside the French window is a lawn + sea view, but it's a pity that the view is not as good as upstairs because I live downstairs, otherwise the view of the sea would be wider.

There are three hotels on Kohama Island, two in the south and one in the north. This historic resort is adjacent to Hoshino, and it is very convenient to play golf at the Hoshino Golf Club, the westernmost and southernmost point of Japan. The hotel covers a huge area, with dense greenery and complete facilities. You can bathe in the large bathhouse to watch the sunset, and play in the water and watch the stars on the large private beach. The hotel has rich activities and good dining. Kohama Island has no tourist facilities and is not overdeveloped. It has a simple and natural rural atmosphere. It is suitable for vacationing or wandering around the island. Electric scooters, bicycles, and four-wheelers can all be rented.

２泊の予定でしたが、台風の影響で波が高くフェリーが欠航になり、1泊になってしまいました。次の日早くに島に渡りましたが、ホテルの送迎も有りましたし、チェックインまで荷物を預けて　電動のレンタサイクルを借りてシュガーロードや西大岳等サイクリングしました。でも、地図をうまく活用できず、携帯の地図で回りました。チェックインも２時間ほど早めてもらえました。綺麗な海でのシュノーケリングを楽しみにしてたのに、入ることができなかったのが残念でした。カートを借りましたが、ガソリン臭く、音も大きかったです。他の人の乗っているのは電気だったのか静かなのも有りました。敷地が広く、カートでの移動はアクティビティのように楽しかったです。大浴場も露天風呂が有り、アメニティも充実していました。ショップには水着やお土産も沢山有りました。フロント横にはオプショナルツアーのデスクもあって　いろいろ相談にのってもらえます。ビーチにもアクティビティの受け付けが有って、シュノーケル等のレンタルもできるようです。

大浴場最高！ 大浴場の露天風呂が最高でした！満点の星空を眺めることができて、とてもリラックスできました！！

広大な敷地内で過ごすリゾートホテル 敷地内の手入れが行き届いており驚きました。カートで敷地内を素早く移動できるのでお勧めします。島の大きさの割に高低差があり、自転車移動は結構足にきます。
