The staff at Peace Island Taketomi were very kind and accommodating. The location was great for getting around and we enjoyed the rental bikes. We had a nice breakfast there too. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. Would recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room had everything we need (the only thing we thought would be nice to have was a table on the verandah), the staff was super friendly and helpful. The island itself is a real gem.

The cottage-style room was lovely 💓
I was able to easily go outside even in the middle of the night and look up at the stars, which made me feel like I was at a summer home ♡ This is a hotel I'd love to stay at again!

This hotel is only a 10-minute drive from the pier. If you call in advance, someone from the hotel will pick you up at the pier holding a hotel sign.
The rooms here are average in size but look clean. There are many homestays here, and this warm and hygienic hotel is your best choice for cost-effectiveness. (Of course, if you have money, you can go to Hoshino, haha, the experience is many levels different) Especially since two meals are included, it solves a lot of worries for you on this strange little island. Beaches, star sand, sunsets, starry skies, everything you want is close here.

以前日帰りでコンドイ浜を訪れた際に、1度は竹富島に泊まりたいなと思い予約しました。 結果最高の体験が出来ました。 8歳と5歳の子連れです。 それぞれヴィラタイプの客室で広さは充分。 トイレもお風呂場も水回りも綺麗でした。 ホテルの方も皆さんフレンドリーで、 5歳児がしきりに話しかけても快くご対応下さいました。 また度々カブトムシやヤモリなど見つけては子どもに説明してくださったり、花火をする際には大人用の椅子を用意していただいたりと常にお気遣いいただきありがたかったです。 極めつけはやはり中庭での天体観測。 言葉では表現できないほどの息を呑む光景です。 これは竹富島でここに泊まった人間がだけが体験できるものかもしれません。 また売店もありますので、中庭でお酒を1杯やるのも最高です。 非常に良心的価格です。 ご飯は朝、夕と味、ボリュームともに大変満足出来ますが、一方で子どもにはかなり量が多いかも知れません。 5歳児の方は食事無しプランでしたが、ご飯はついてましたので大人のおかずを少しあげる程度で大丈夫でした。 8歳児の方は結果半分くらい残ってしまい、大人の1人前食べられる子であれば問題ないかと思います。 コンドイ浜にも近く、各食堂にも歩いて行ける場所です。 食後に西桟橋まで散歩に行くとちょうど夕暮れ時でした。 一寸先が真っ暗な夜、誰もいないコンドイ浜の朝焼け。 竹富島に泊まる際にはいいロケーションだと思います。 また竹富島に行く機会があれば泊まりたい宿です。
