A particularly great accommodation experience. We stayed during Christmas, the room was very cozy and the owner was very enthusiastic in recommending many delicious restaurants. The breakfast on the second day was also very rich. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The hotel staff are all so kindㅜㅜ It's a traditional Japanese style room, and I've only stayed in 4-star and 5-star hotels, and I made a reservation here to go to Takayama in the middle, and this was the best hotel I've ever stayed in. I really want to go to Takayama again just to stay here.. I highly recommend it! The facilities are clean, the heater is warm, and the hot spring is small, but there weren't many guests, so I used it alone. The breakfast is also delicious!!

We had a lovely time at Iroriyado Hidaya. We stayed from July 26 - July 29 for 3 nights in a Japanese style room (sleeping on futons) The inn has a great traditional Japanese interior and the hospitality was incredible welcoming and warm. We particularly enjoyed eating at the excellent Japanese restaurant at a 5 minute walk from the inn. It was our first visit to the city of Takayama which pleasantly surprised us. Iroriyado Hidaya comes highly recommended.

Spending the night at this inn was one of the best experiences I had. From evening to morning you enjoy a traditional Japanese living style, including wearing kimonos, bathing in onsens and eating a delicious Japanese breakfast. The people here are very welcoming and the rooms extremely comfortable. It is also outside the center allowing a peaceful and secluded environment. The only thing I regret is not sleeping here 2 nights.
