Hotel situato abbastanza distante dal centro cittadino, raggiungibile in 15-20 minuti a piedi dalla stazione. Presente servizio navetta gratuito su richiesta chiamando la reception. La struttura è abbastanza datata, così come gli arredamenti. Grandi stanze da 5-6 persone con tatami. Bagno in camera e altri bagni presenti anche eni corridoi. Possibilità di prenotare anche la cena e la colazione tradizionale, anche se quest'ultima per il gusto europeo è troppo "estrema". Disponibile onsen gratuito per gli ospiti. Wi-Fi di buona qualità.

Struttura un po' datata, piuttosto grande, tutto sommato passabile. Cercavamo un ryokan a Takayama e in quel periodo non c'era rimasta molta scelta. Abbiamo usufruito di cena, colazione e onsen interno. Posizione un po' decentrata. Personale estremamente gentile (ci hanno cambiato camera perchè la doccia nel micro-bagno non funzionava). C'erano lavori in corso, forse hanno in programma un rinnovo dei locali!

Bella esperienza in questo Ryokan! Camera enorme con tatami e ciabatte per l’esterno e per il bagno. Futon comodo. Bagno piccolino ma con vasca con tendina/doccia. Cena Kaisen ottima con tante piccole porzioni tipiche Anche la colazione sempre tipica Carino lo Yukata che devi mettere per la cena.

The food was wonderful and we felt like the staff tried and were kind. The building is really really run down. The floor in front of the elevator feels like it might fall thru. The location is out of town and a hike in. Pillows were rice husk filled (?) and smelled like dust. The bathroom floor drain was just gross and there was no way we were going to try the onsen. Literally one outlet in the room.

Beautiful experience, obviously touristy but still unmissable in Japan to immerse yourself in the local culture. Comfortable room, nice to wear the kimono for dinner. Excellent Japanese breakfast and dinner, very kind staff. Also nice onsen, even if very hot.

Visiting Takayama, we booked a night at the Ryokan. What a slap!! We were very well received by this very, very kind family, they made a huge effort to satisfy us greatly. The room was perfect. The grandiose traditional breakfast, The friendly and attentive staff. Flawless! Good location of the hotel in the city, 10 minutes from the city center where in the evening the son took us to the restaurant by shuttle. I recommend this charming place or I would return without problem.
