The room was very warm and clean, and there was a nice view of Lake Biwa outside the window. You can take a walk early in the morning to see the sunrise. I read in the reviews that there was a hot spring, but there wasn't one, which was a bit disappointing.

The location was great having the beach just next to the hotel. The stars at night and the sun rise there made our trip special. I like the room with the woody design.

The hotel is located by the lake. It is very nice to go down to the beach in the morning to watch the sunrise. Although the lake view room is blocked by some trees, you can see the direction of the sunrise. The environment inside the house is quite dark, and the decoration is in the style of a camping cabin. It is quite comfortable in Lidu. It takes about ten minutes to cross the train station. There is a shuttle available to get to the station after checking out, but there are only two fixed times that didn’t fit our schedule, so we didn’t choose to take it. Makino itself is quite remote, so everything was as expected.

This time we booked a regular lake view twin room in the main building - with bathroom - regular floor room. There are two single beds in the room and two sofa beds. There are three of us, so we only use one sofa bed. We were assigned to the underground floor for the first time. The window faces the beach. You can see tourists camping on the beach and families playing in the water. It feels like a vacation. The room is large enough for 3 adults. It is spacious and clean.
