Although we checked in late, we were soothed by the open-air rose bath. We were lucky that it was only available on certain days of the week.
For breakfast, we enjoyed the "Breakfast at the Ryokan." We wanted to drink coffee, so it was good that drip coffee was prepared in the room.

The hot spring was spacious, clean and comfortable.
The room was completely visible to pedestrians on the street. I was worried about this and couldn't open the curtains during my stay. It's a shame that you can't see the outside view at all, even though the accommodation fee is so high.

Amazing hot spring hotel near Kobe and mountains
Stayed in Junior Suite and did one day with half board. We had a fantastic experience. Room was really pretty and the suite had a nice hot tub.
The riverside view was really pretty, and they had a nice public onsen bath complete with riverside view, jacuzzi jets, and even massage chairs and complimentary drinks in the lounge area. Could also book a private onsen for ¥2,000 which was really reasonable.
Service was excellent; staff were friendly, helpful, and respectful. They had some English-speaking staff on duty.
There's a ramen shop and a convenience shop a short walk away. The hotel is also near the mountains, so we enjoyed the mountain views when travelling out to Kobe.
