This hotel is located right in front of the Zuisenjiguchi (South Exit) of Takaoka Station on the JR and Ainokaze Toyama Railway. It is not in the downtown area where the Manyo Line runs, so even though it is in front of the station, it feels quiet. I was tired from sightseeing and did not want to move after checking in, so it was very useful to have a rare business hotel that offers a light meal (curry: free refills) for dinner. There is a light meal buffet for breakfast, but the downside is that the dining area itself is very small. If you do not plan your meal time well, you will have to wait for a seat to become available. As for the rooms, they are "narrow". It is not the "narrow" image that is often seen in comments, but the rooms themselves are quite small. I am more concerned about price than narrowness, so it is not a problem for me, but I think it may be difficult for people with a larger build. Since it was the peak of the autumn tourist season, Culture Day in November, there were no vacancies at hotels in Toyama and Kanazawa, and only a few vacancies were available in Takaoka city. Because of this, I had no choice but to stay in a smoking room. Considering the location and cost performance, I think it's a good choice.
