Friendly host and offer assistance to our dinner. Room is nice and comfortable. Also provide free bicycle but it was a bit old. Happy experience.

We spent 12 nights in Taiwan, touring the island, and this is by far the most beautiful and functional hostel/hotel we’d stayed in. Absolutely love the lay out of the place. With a big courtyard in the middle, filled with plants. The ground floor has a common fully functional kitchen (with fridge, oven, stove, steamer, we even found Chinese tea set for those wanting to try out Chinese tea making), lots of pots and pans, they even provide cooking oil, sauces, salt for cooking. It’s so clean and tidy that every guest using the place was obligated to keep the place the same state! On the ground floor, there are lots of comfortable seats for reading or having a chat. Tables for doing work. Bean bags to sit and lounge around. The hostel provides bike mounts for those who come in bicycle, a bike repair area with some tools to fix your bike. Those who drive, there is a nearby parking for hostel guest (TWD50 per day) We get vouchers to spend in a few places nearby, so we used it to pay for our brunch at Lane28. They were enough to cover brunch for 3 of us for 2 days. The rooms too are nicely designed. Our deluxe double room comes with a big bed, a sofa, and a study table. The hotel even provide journaling books, stamps, washi tapes for journaling. Absolutely coming back! And will try the other Norden Ruder hostel in Taichung.

Extremly nice boutique hotel with many cool little details

Had a super good deal (price for the room) on trip.com. Would recommend this hotel for sure to everyone who visit Taitung. Great location (city center). Love the design of the hotel. Nice relaxing space, big shared kitchen, green and open. There is a laundry area (to be paid for the wash machine and dryer). The staff is very friendly. Specially the girl at the reception when I checked out, could change my non-used voucher for a souvenir from the hotel (bag). The best hotel (price and quality) during my 9 days trip through Taiwan (Taipei, Hualien, Taitung, Kaohsiung, Tainan).

The hotel has most of the facilities a solo traveler needed, nice and green patio. Very clean shared kitchen, pantry, laundry room, common areas, even has a meeting room if you need to has conference call. Love it. Allow to store the luggage after checkout (However no security guard - only cctv). Paid the price of hostel for a private en-suite room, value for money. Will come and stay here if visit Taitung again.

I was lucky enough to get an upgrade upon check in. Hotel was very nice and clean - with all amenities I needed and beautifully designed. The only two things that were a little unexpected was the sound of an ice cream truck continuously playing at night before 9:30pm and it was hard to find the airconditioner panel on the ceiling to point the remote to. Other than that, an excellent stay. I would gladly return.

Great place - with an interesting and cool design. Staff were lovely - though sort of hidden away. Rooms are cosy and compact - and very clean. I loved the in-room guest book - nice tough. Location was good too - near the coast. I was only there for one night - but it was perfect!

Very nice hotel / hostel with great location and clean rooms

Clean and modern “hostel-type” hotel. There is a common kitchen that is kept well and common eating areas. The rooms are nice and simple, which provide your own bathroom and a futon mattress. The service was smooth and friendly. It should be noted that breakfast comes in form of a 100 NT voucher, which can be used at around 30 restaurants/eateries in the neighborhood. So you have to pick where you eat by yourself.

The hostel is located very close to the main attractions so you won’t need a lot of time to get yourself familiar with a city and what it has to offer. There are some great restaurants nearby and if you prefer junk food nearby Mc Donald’s is located within a walking distance. The service was extraordinary. The room was clean and comfy. In my opinion it is a perfect place to start your adventure with ********* east coast.

We have enjoyed everything what this hotel had to offer. Clean, minimalist, spacious and comfortable environment. Attention to detail made our stay more enjoyable. Most importantly the common area which is open atrium with plenty of books and seating area as well as various snacks, drinks were carefully thought/ planned. Definitely recommend!

Everything was completely perfect. I can’t fault a single thing.
