Easter trip with the family, stayed here after Kaiping rural historical villages and diaolou exploration. For some city time. Clean neat new hotel. Good Non smoking rooms. Nice bathrooms, japanese style automatic toilets. Simple okay buffet breakfast, fresh coffee, mostly Chinese style breakfast. Our family had a good time. Booked a double for us and a twin room for the kids. There is a bit of a music bass noise in the evening due to next door night club. Was mentioned in the booking. No real problem for us. We enjoyed the giant modern Chain mall a short drive away for dinner and shopping. The old city centre is also good for meals and the sights.

The location is convenient for transportation. As for hygiene, there was a long hair inside the quilt when I opened it, and there was a stain on the bed that had not been cleaned. Most importantly, the door gap was not fixed properly. I heard a ”woohoo” sound when I was sleeping at night, which was scary. I didn't sleep well the whole night. Fortunately, I asked the front desk the next day if I could delay check-out, and the front desk agreed. It is worth mentioning that when I went out for dinner at night and it rained, the front desk had an umbrella to borrow.

Rooms are spacious and clean except for some stains at the curtains The 'Alexa/Google home' in the rooms made the stay even more comfortable as everything could be voice controlled. Interestingly, the hotel provides free supper from 9pm to 11pm which makes it very convenient for guests who arrived late in the hotel to have a quick bite without having to venture out. There are washing machines & dryer available in the hotel for guests to wash their clothes. Thank goodness for it especially during winter so we could bring less clothes along. Most importantly, the service from the staff is excellent. Every one we met in the hotel treated us warmly and went the extra mile to accede to our requests. We booked 3 rooms initially then added one more room after one night. Unfortunately, there wasn't any available room on the the same floor. However, the staff actually called us the next day and informed us of an available room on the same floor and asked if we would like to change the room so the entire family could be on the same floor. We were impressed with their attention to detail and their service! Thank you one and all at Mandarin Elegant Hotel for your warmth and graciousness and for making our stay enjoyable and memorable! Personally, I think it should be the best hotel in Taicheng. The environment is very new and the sanitary conditions are very good. But after all, it is a newly opened room and there is still a little smell, which may make people who are sensitive uncomfortable. Another possibility is that the hotel facilities are still in the testing phase. At first, I was unable to open the door after checking in with the room card. However, the hotel staff provided a solution as soon as possible. I hope that the facility management can be strengthened in the future. As a newly opened hotel, it is understandable that it has some flaws, but overall the flaws outweigh the merits.

The location was very convenient, right off the highway and by a big shopping mall with a cinema and restaurants. There's also an EE bus to and from Hong Kong for added convenience that departs from this mall. The room is clean, the bathtub is for photo only - non-functional. Despite the construction noise sign, I got a room on floor 6 and barely heard the construction. I enjoyed my stay here, the room was cleaned everyday and amenities topped up. Washing detergent is provided and the washing machine is great! Could provide clothing clips in addition to the hangers to dry smaller garments like socks and underwear. Very nice and large projector TV screen. 5/5 - no complaints.

酒店位置比較好找，而且有配套的地下停車場，位置挺多，比較方便。雖然房間近路邊，但是在5樓也基本聽不到車聲了。房間的環境不錯，乾淨整潔。但讓人不能理解的是，為啥我訂了一間親子房，房間裏面居然是可吸煙的，還配了煙灰缸，慶幸的是房間裏面聞不到煙味。詳情介紹頁面也標註了有玩樂設施（小童帳篷、小童玩具）和小童用品（小童浴巾、小童面巾、小童拖鞋、小童洗漱用品），但我入住之後衹能看到兩套成人的東西，打電話到前台詢問有沒有小童洗漱用品等提供，前台也回覆説不提供。最後退房的時候問了一下前台，説衹有兩間親子主題房間，如果需要的話要備註。我訂的這個衹是有子母床。洗衣房有波輪洗衣機和滾筒洗衣機各一台，還有一台烘乾機，可以隨時使用，還提供了洗衣液和柔順劑。酒店一樓有超市，三樓有酒樓，買東西吃東西都挺方便。附近還有一家巧興早餐店，東西也不錯。酒店總體來説是不錯的，而且在5.1期間400多的價格也不算貴了。

It was nice and spacious, but missing some amenities. There was no fridge and microwave in the rooms. Only one complimentary bottle of water per person was provided daily; any extra bottles have to be purchased. 2 out of 4 dryers weren’t working; it took a long time to dry clothes. It was very dark in the laundry room. The gym and rec room was in one big room in which we had to manually turn on the lights ourselves; it felt very unfinished and not well ventilated. The beds weren’t made one day even though we requested room clean up. There were only Chinese instructions in the bathroom, so non-Chinese readers may not be aware of certain rules. At the dim sum restaurant in the hotel, they added a dish we had told them to remove from our ordering menu and forced us to keep and pay for it even though it was their mistake for adding it to our ordering tab.

I decided to travel to Taishan at short notice and chose this B&B without hesitation. It was past 8 o'clock when we arrived at Taishan after get off work on Friday. We entered along a small road from the national highway. There were no street lights along the way and the mountain road was winding. The two of them dared to drive. After entering the village, I saw something like a lit up castle from a distance, and it felt like another village was surrounded by dark flowers and bright flowers. This is a B&B that was renovated from an elementary school. It was built in the 12th year of the Republic of China. It gives me a scary and unexpected feeling when I look at it at night. After I parked the car and looked outside the door, I felt it was very beautiful. I kept thinking that I must sleep in a place like this at night. Very comfortable. The flowers throughout the B&B are very vibrant. Hydrangeas, chrysanthemums, and magnolias can be seen everywhere. The room I ordered is ”beautiful day and night.” There is an ancient poem that says the mountain air is beautiful day and night, and the birds return to each other. It feels like the owner of the B&B has put a lot of effort into taking care of this B&B. The double bed room is divided into hard bed and soft bed, which is very considerate. The shower head in the room is the most comfortable device for me. The water output is huge, but the hot water response is very slow. It takes a long time to take off clothes and wait for hot water. . Another little mistake was that I was watching TV in bed, and suddenly a 2cm ant appeared on the bed, which scared me to death. The next day I was woken up by the chirping of birds. The breakfast cooked by the housekeeper was delicious. The breakfast for the two of us seemed to be specially customized for SVIP. The rice rolls were really great. With the blue sky and white clouds as a backdrop, you can clearly see how beautiful this B&B is. The photos are very photogenic, and your boyfriend can’t go wrong no matter how he takes them, which is conducive to promoting the relationship between couples. I added the owner of the B&B on WeChat and marveled at how beautiful the B&B was. I decided to take some friends with me next time. The owner said he also had a campsite, which made me look forward to it even more. The food in Taishan this time was mediocre, but the accommodation was really comfortable, which completely raised the level of this trip. Overall, it’s a five-star review, exceeding expectations and worth recommending!

A very private B&B, located right in the village, surrounded by farmland and with great scenery. The B&B is clean and tidy, and every corner is decorated and designed with great care. The rooftop on the third floor has a beautiful view, especially at sunset🌅The housekeeper is enthusiastic and provides considerate service, introducing the surrounding food and attractions. A very good experience, worth going again for leisure.

The hotel room is great👏! We were upgraded to a large suite, which is very large and spacious, with complete facilities and equipment, and the comfort of the room is also great! The hot spring pool is so big, the scenery is beautiful, and you can also barbecue and play mahjong. I love it so much💕! The room was originally booked without breakfast, but the front desk staff still sent us breakfast warmly, which was very rich. Thank you so much!
