Taipei Wanhua District 4-star Hotels

Excellent stay with Riverview Hotel. It is close to Ximen business area for food and shopping. Hotel staff were very helpful. We booked for three nights and got a free upgrade when we were not 100% happy with the 1st night room. The upgraded one has a smart toilet which is very nice. The hotel even offered free luggage storage and free shuttle drop off to Ximen Station.

This hotel badly needs redecorating. The rooms are cramped, and the furniture is old-fashioned and tatty. My room had a double bed, although it really was only a single room. I would have preferred a single bed and more space. Also, it hadn’t been cleaned properly: the carpet at corridor was dusty, and the desk was stained. It also overlooked a noisy bar, which was a problem because there was no air conditioning, so I had to sleep without the windows. On top of that, the hotel was also understaffed, so service was really slow. Having said that, it’s cheap and in a convenient, good location, so you get what you pay for.

Nice bed and great service. Some noice on the air con in 1st night and the front desk have get ready another room for replacement. Some smell in the new room and offer air cleaner immdy to minimize the issue.

Inhouse Hotel Ximen boasts a fantastic location right in the vibrant heart of Ximending, making it incredibly convenient for exploring shops, restaurants, and accessing the MRT. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they are consistently clean. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast offers a decent selection. Overall, it's a great value for its prime location and is ideal for travelers wanting to immerse themselves in the lively atmosphere of Ximending and easily navigate Taipei. Recommended for its convenience and location.

Hotel was great, convenient, clean and easy to navigate. Located considerably centre of ximending and easy access to all food, shop, drink and whatever you needed as you named it except the room I stayed with window facing the downstairs cafe/bar which if the live band performing will have quite loud sound were transmitted into the room. Other than that all good!

Overall, our stay was passable. The room was clean, and the location was convenient for accessing Ximen. However, getting to the hotel required a long detour around the new building to reach the old building. Additionally, there was no shelter between the buildings, which was inconvenient when it rained. Even the pick-up and drop-off area lacked proper shelter. To be fair, they do provide raincoats at the reception at the old building. On the day of checkout, around 11 AM, we requested umbrellas to cross over, but the staff suggested waiting for the rain to subside until our checkout time at 12 PM due to a shortage of manpower. When we asked how they would facilitate checkout if the rain continued, especially during peak checkout hours, the staff were unable to provide a clear response.

Highly recommended!! It’s a 9.5/10👍🏻 - Location: Ximendin is just right at the corner and has a convenient store downstairs. - Staffs: they would greet you everytime when they see you. - Room layout and facilities: I love how they separate the toilet and the bathroom! And the TV can play YouTube!! - Amenities: good that they have a coffee bar, coin laundry machine and gym that you can access easily daily. Wish they have a swimming pool.

Small, no frills hotel. The room is new and has a designer feel. It is at the edge of xi men ding, about 10mins walk to the main action. Hotel staff was kind to provide a free upgrade to a bigger room. The room is beside a busy road highway , which makes it quite noisy throughout the entire day.

Situated at 3 MRT stations away from Taipei Main Station, it is great location for exploring Taipei City. We got a good deal so the price is reasonable. Renovations were in progress the place looks a bit unkept and the room feels somewhat dusty. The room interior/fitting are very old but functional. The Jacuzzi us not working as hence only serve as a bath tube. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast (only tried once) is at a separate venue. It is cafe with limited menu but reasonable quality. Overall, not delighted/impressed but nothing really to complain about.

Our family stayed at Via Hotel Zhongxiao for 2 nights and 3 days, and it was much better than we expected. We were satisfied with the location, cleanliness, service, and facilities. At first, the building itself seemed old and the first floor felt a bit dirty.. And the hotel was on the 3rd floor, so what is it?.... But.. When we went up to the 3rd floor, the hotel itself was clean and the staff was very, very kind. Our room, which was designated as a family room, was on the 4th floor Wow~~~ It was a little disappointing that there was no window, but the spacious, clean, and good water pressure bathroom and toilet made up for it. We expected breakfast because the rate included breakfast.. haha ​​This hotel doesn't have a restaurant, so it seems to have contracted with nearby cafes.. restaurants and provided meals. The breakfast at the nearby cafe was simple and delicious, like sandwiches, hamburgers, and coffee. Our family had a satisfying breakfast. Our family had a pleasant trip and returned home safely.
