It is the first time we are staying at CityInn Hotel Taipei Station Branch II and it is conveniently located nearby the Taipei Main Station and Bus Station. On the first day when check in, we receive warm and genuine greetings from the service staff stationed at the reception counter. My friends and I were impressed by the excellent service provided by the staff (led by Lilian and her team mates Nancy and Aria) who provided as a insightful introduction to the premises and amenities available in the hotel.
They helped to look after our luggage before the check in timing at 3pm and recommended us to some of the popular food spots around the vicinity.
Afterwhich, we collected the room cards from them timely at check in counter without any delay.
The room was sparkling clean and room amenities were all avaliable for us. There were also a self service pantry area where you can choose your drinks (coffee or tea and water dispenser) and light snacks such as biscuits and bowl noodles (after 10pm) were provided free of charge. Kitchen utensils as well as Freezer, Microwave and Oven were also made available for in house guest to use 24/7. We were also delighted to know that there is a on-site laundry room where we can wash our laundry which is especially user friendly and helpful as we were on a long trip with soiled clothings. They even provided both the washing machines and dryers as well as the detergent powder.
It was so convenient and homely for our 3 days 2 nights at the hotel.
Special shout out to Debby (night shift staff) who advised us on the aircon issue we had on first night on how to adjust the right temperature and also Aria assisting us with getting the engineering team to fix the air con on the next morning.
Debby thank you for also doing the night shift and maintaining the cleanliness of the pantry in the morning.
Lastly, we will like to thank the service team for their excellent service and great hospitality. We are deeply touched by the genuine service and surprise little gift for our friend's birthday. (Thank you Lilian and Kenny and team)
Keep up the great work and stay passionate in what you do.

It is an amazing hotel for the price. It is a 10 minutes walk distance from Taipei main station, it has other connecting train stations near as well bus stops, it has an amazing night market at the same street. Staff is kind and you can leave your luggage if you arrive early or leave it there if want to explore more after checkout. It has no breakfast but have water bottles and snacks available all the time.
Be aware that the entrance is through an elevator where the gym is advertised, so it is not easily visible.
Rooms are as shown in pictures.

I strongly suggest follow signage in Taipei Station towards West 1 or North 3 exit then cross traffic light at junction as shown in my uploaded photos then walk along the main road opposite Q Mall until you see First Bank at a traffic junction in straight line of sight. Hotel is just beside the bank. Outside Taipei station only 2 gentle flight of steps getting to the traffic junction, manageable with my big luggage.
Within the station you can’t see any sign to all the Y5, Y7 exits mentioned in the reviews. You have to get down to the crowded underground mall to find the signage to the Y exits then come up to the street level. Quite overwhelming to navigate within the huge Taipei Main Station & busy underground mall to Q Mall with huge luggage.
Hotel service is excellent, only downside is neighbouring shops are too varied, can’t find food downstairs easily like in XMD. Best to go to Q Mall basement if you don’t want to travel too far out to get a meal. There are a few cafes nearby for coffee fix like CAMA (I recommend cheap & good Two Shots cafe at Zhongshan station where Decathlon is). Very fast & easy to order Uber car to pick up & drop off right in front of hotel. All in all, still a good hotel choice near Taipei Main Station.

The check-in front desk only starts at 8 am so if you arrive earlier, there is a 7-Eleven next door for you to take a rest. Service is good, staff are friendly and with the breakfast voucher I got to explore the neighbourhood eateries. If you are coming from Taoyuan Airport, you can take the Airport Express train, the entrance and exit are near where the hotel is located. It's near Taipei Main Station where you can take the High Speed Rail, local railway and metro. Love the design of the room I stayed in as they kept the old building structure.

We’ve got a free upgrade from the hotel, it was very nice of them
The room is clean and the toilet has smart toilet with is super friendly for us Malaysian, but please be minded that they only provide body wash, travellers must prepare their own amenities
One thing bad is just the pillows, they are too soft. My neck is super painful when I wake up
Location wise, is literally the best! Short walking distance (approx 2-3mins) to the MRT Daqiaotou Station, and there is a convenience store right below the hotel, there is also some breakfast spots downstairs, must try their 蛋餅!

As we were arriving late at night and had to depart the next morning to Taichung, we wanted a decent clean hotel that was close to HSR station, had triple-sharing beds and not so expensive. This checked all our boxes and we were so glad we booked this hotel. It was just a 2 mins walk to the lift to the underground mall which leads all the way to HSR, TRA, metro and mall. The room isn't huge but had sufficient space for us to move around. Staff were all ok, not rude attitude but also nothing exceptional. The only con was that this is a room with no windows. It was ok for us as we merely stayed for less than 12 hours.

The location is located near Dadaocheng Park. There happens to be an underground parking lot in the park, so there is no need to find a parking place. Although it is a bit difficult to find in the alley, the overall environment is not bad, and the store's service attitude is also very good, but there are shortcomings. The sound insulation is a bit poor. If someone goes upstairs in the room, they can hear the sound of stepping on the stairs. It takes about 8 minutes to walk to Dihua Street, which is quite convenient.

Hotel was located about 10minutes from the Taipei main station. This is my second time staying here, and frankly was a little disappointed. The fire alarm kept going off and apparently it was due to the fault of the alarm. The staff were nice and apologetic but the alarm kept going off even at 12am which affected sleep quality.

YYUYANThe hotel is ok. It is also convenient to eat, drink and play around. The staff at the hotel is not very good. Say don't book at Ctrip. We obviously booked the room. Going to the first sentence means that you have booked a room? In fact, they also have a single hand. Also left the room. ......... said Ctrip is not good in Taiwan. Do not make reservations at Ctrip in the future. I don't understand why. Your hotel will not be cancelled if you don't cooperate with Ctrip. We will not book a reservation at Ctrip. Anyway, people are not very happy to receive, we are in the room booked by Ctrip.

MMochichimmyMy stay at Taipei Yi Su Hotel is truly a positive one. Will definitely book this hotel again if I were to be back in Taipei. The clean room is definitely a huge plus. Additionally, the service staff were really helpful and friendly which made my stay there an enjoyable one. Also, the location is extremely convenient as it is really close to Taipei main station metro station and Ning Xia night market.

SSheenaWe had a one night stay. It was decent. Underground parking costs NTD100 per day. One washing machine and one dryer are available for complimentary usage. There is one treadmill and one cycling machine. Room is clean and comfortable. Great bathroom. The only downside for us is the toilet door is not entirely shield. Slightly see through which is quite embarrassing.
JJoyce from MalaysiaCheck in time at 5pm and it was way too late. Location wise is a bit far when you have to push your big luggages on the street as there are 2 traffic lights that required pedestrian to wait quite awhile when crossing the road. Another small street has no traffic light, pedestrian just need to watch out while crossing. Subway Exit 5 no need to cross a street. However, Exit 6 needs to cross a street. The room was spacious but only basic amenities like shampoo, towels, toilet paper and 2 bottles mineral water were provided in the room. Then only I realised some light snacks and breakfast like bread were provided. Water dispenser, coffee and tea sachets were provided outside the room. There was instant food vending machine in the hotel. I saw a laundry room but never went inside. There was a supermarket downstairs and quite convenient. But due to privacy, the room will only be cleaned if hotel guests informed hotel front desk. Then room key need to be given to front desk then only the room will be cleaned. I informed the front desk as after 1st night my rubbish was not dumped and room was not cleaned. The next day I informed front desk to clean my room. However, only rubbish was dumped but floor and toilet was not cleaned at all. I got a shock and just kept quite. Then I realised the hotel had few choices for hotel guests to choose which types of cleaning required. Which I later discovered but not truly understood. This is weird practice. As I paid for few nights stay in many hotels, the housekeeping staff will clean the room thoroughly without being told specifically where to clean. Hence, I stayed in the same room with dirty floor and wiped the toilet floor myself for few nights. I was a bit disappointed with the housekeeping service provided by this hotel. Front desk staffs were friendly and light snacks, light breakfast and coffee/tea sachets were provided plentiful.
