ILLUME TAIPEI

Just opposite the Taipei Arena, I have been staying here before the renovation. After the renovation, it is indeed much more upscale. But there are not many hotels in Taipei that can only check in at 4 o'clock. When checking in, I didn't tell the front desk that we are old customers who have lived here for more than 20 years, so we were asked to come back at 4 o'clock to get the room. When checking out, I met the former manager and told him about it. He apologized a lot, and I was embarrassed 😬 I haven't tried the breakfast, but there is Hongji Breakfast nearby, which is full of local fireworks. I couldn't wait to check in early in the morning

There are similar hotels nearby with the same price and breakfast included. I only chose this hotel because of the kids club.
