The room was clean and tidy, nice! The mattress is soft but comfortable. The only drawback is the poor soundproofing. At night, I could clearly hear the conversations in the next room, especially in the toilet where I could hear the sound of water and conversations.

Good location, it's a few minutes' walk to the night market and sightseeing areas in the city. Also close to the bus stop, which was great. The team was really helpful and accommodating. We were bike packing around taiwan and had to arrange to lalamove to transport our bikes between hotel... with their help it was hassle free. Nice lounge area with free snacks, games & TV too.

Overall - 3 stars. This might sound harsh but there are two negatives that each cost a star.
1 - noise. The windows are not soundproof so there is a lot of street noise if you're on that side. There was also some noise from the corridor and other rooms. In particular, you could hear that loud rushing-water 'shhh' sound when someone was using the shower in the neighbouring room. Personally, I think hotels should be as quiet as possible.
2 - I asked for late check out and was told it's 200 NTD per hour up to 2pm, and after that you get charged for an extra day. Now 200 per hour isn't too bad, but I felt like a really good hotel would let you have a couple hours late check out for free if they don't need the room back. The receptionist didn't even check the system. It's pure policy, which just feels a bit corporate.
The bed was comfy, shower was good and free snacks is of course a plus, so if you don't mind the above two points, by all means stay here. But next time I come to Taipei, I'll try somewhere else.

Back to the hotel, the room was big and clean. Bath salts were provided in the bathroom 😍, which was nice 👍🏻. There was a non-slip mat in the bathroom of my room, which was very thoughtful. But when I got to my parents' room, I realized that not every room had a non-slip mat in the bathroom. So I would like to give a suggestion to the hotel, I hope every bathroom has a non-slip mat!
In addition, the soundproofing is not very good. I could hear the guests talking outside the door early in the morning. It happened that the guests living next door had children who were in a bad mood in the morning and woke up at around 6 o'clock. When waiting for the elevator, I could also hear the guests talking in the room. The sound of cars downstairs was also very loud, so friends who are afraid of noise should pay attention.
