The location is convenient, the station is nearby, and there are Family Mart, Seven, McDonald's, 50 Lan, drug store (Kang Shi Mei), supermarket, and massage parlor nearby. You can also walk to the famous Fuhang Doujiang.
The hotel is large, so you have to walk to get around the hotel.
The staff is average. They are not very friendly, but they do what they can.
I went to the pool on the 17th floor with my child for a little while.
Towels are available for rent.
The pool was plain, so we left after about 30 minutes.
Breakfast was average.
There were locals lining up for lunch.

It's located right next to the Shandao Temple MRT station and bus stop, and within walking distance of Taipei Main Station, so it's very convenient for transportation. My check-in time was 3pm, but they let me check in quite early, which was very helpful. The reception staff spoke perfect Japanese, so I felt at ease. The room was spacious and clean. I knew that disposable amenities like toothbrushes wouldn't be available in Taipei, but shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were provided. I had no problems. It was very comfortable.
