This is a very traditional Japanese luxury hotel with attentive service. It's a truly immersive experience, and you're immersed in a completely Japanese atmosphere. Aside from the slight age-related signs of age in the facilities, everything else is immaculate. The room design is fantastic, with doors and windows creating separate areas, yet they can all be connected, allowing you to see the view from the living room window from your bedroom bed.

Absolutely excellent staff, and a lovely hotel in Beitou. However the rooms are starting to show its age as it opened in 2010 - e.g. I observed some stains on the doors in my room. Conveniently located in the touristy part of Beitou, near the library and steps away from a 7-Eleven if you need anything at night.

The service is in place, the bar meals and drinks are delicious and tasty. I would like to book a salt bath next time I have a chance. I hope to stay a few more days. The high floors have great views. I can enjoy the night view with my friends on the balcony!
