A Comfortable Stay in the Heart of Taipei I recently had the pleasure of staying at Guide hotel taipei bade during my visit to Taipei, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, professional, and eager to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel's location is somewhere in the middle. It’s 15mins away from Taipei 101, Raohe night market, and ximending. It's situated in the bustling area of Bade which is full of great restaurants and convenient public transportation options. There are many other popular landmarks are just a short ride awayeithur by train or bus making it easy to explore the city. Room: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed, including a comfortable bed, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV. The bathroom was modern and well-maintained, with a powerful shower and all necessary toiletries. Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The service was exceptional. The front desk staff were always polite and willing to assist with any requests, whether it was for directions or local recommendations. The housekeeping staff did a great job keeping the room clean and fresh during my stay. Amenities: ⭐⭐⭐ The hotel offers few amenities, but its all good. Value for Money: ⭐⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Overall, I found the hotel to be a great value for the price, considering the location and level of service. While it wasn't the cheapest option in Taipei, it offered excellent quality and comfort. Conclusion: I highly recommend Guide hotel taipei bade to anyone visiting Taipei especially those attending conferences in TAINEX or Nanggang area. Whether you're in the city for business or leisure, this hotel offers a fantastic base to explore all the wonders Taipei has to offer. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. Its location is strategic — right near the bus station, which made getting around super convenient. The MRT station for city sightseeing is about an 800m walk, but the MRT station for the airport line is only 400m away, so that's a big plus if you're flying in or out. There's also a supermarket very close by, perfect for quick snacks or essentials. There are also some self laundry store nearby. What I appreciated most was the flexible luggage storage — they kindly let me leave my bags for several days when I went to another city and came back to stay again. The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay.

Overall good, with convenient transportation and relatively new facilities. The only issue was the showerhead holder in the room was only half a meter off the ground, so I had to hold it while showering at night. How is someone who's 1.8 meters tall supposed to manage that?

It's an old building that's been renovated, but the renovation was done haphazardly, so it's still old. The central air conditioning system was probably built with the building itself, and the air it blows out smells musty. It's basically only suitable for people who don't mind mold. The other environments are so-so. It's close to Taipei 101 and the night market, and the staff service is very good. The first room assigned by the system was absolutely horrible. The ceiling and corners were covered in mold. Even without air conditioning, it smelled musty. The staff helped us change to a room that wasn't moldy and even provided an ozone generator for disinfection and deodorization. But when we turned on the central air conditioning, the musty smell immediately sprayed out of the pipes. I thought I'd just stay one night and not turn on the air conditioning, and just open the windows for ventilation. It was my first time staying in a hotel without air conditioning. In short, apart from the good location and good staff, the hotel facilities, environment, and air conditioning were all terrible. Compared to a 200 RMB hotel in China, I spent 1100 RMB, which was a disaster! If you're a clean freak, you can skip this. The first two photos are of the ceiling in the first terrifyingly moldy room (1/3 of it was moldy)! The last three photos are of the room I was moved to, which was much cleaner, but the signs of age were still very obvious.

I stayed in a double suite without windows. It took a while for the air conditioner to reach that temperature after adjusting the temperature. The bed was very comfortable and the quilt was of good quality. The service staff has a great attitude! When we first encountered a problem at the check-in counter, we immediately sought help from the service staff and the problem was resolved immediately.
