Tainan Yongkang District 5-star Hotels

This is really a hotel that amazes me. It has a strong Bali resort style and the rooms are very big and comfortable! The breakfast is delicious and the service staff is very nice! There is also a swimming pool for children to play in! Everything is worth it and satisfying

We stayed in a double room on the fifth floor. Although the room was next to the elevator, it was not as noisy as expected. The soundproofing was good. The room was decorated in an elegant style and was very cozy. There were two soft and hard pillows to choose from, but both were relatively inelastic. The bed was a firm support that I personally preferred. The water supply from the faucet was sufficient and the temperature was high enough. The bath products were imported. The small drawback is that the TV is small, but the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. The service staff downstairs are attentive to help open the door and guide, and there is a small mini bar available for you to take when you rest. Will take it into consideration for next stay!

The room was clean and ok, very close to the train station. No toiletries were provided. The service was average and the facilities were a bit old. I forgot to take my slippers with me when I checked in the day before, and I didn't buy a train ticket that night. I returned to the hotel and found that my slippers were missing. I called the hotel front desk and they said they didn't see them. I stayed in the same hotel for two nights and was still wearing them the night before.

It’s located where the bus stops are to go around the city and next to the train station. It’s basic hotel good for the price. the staff speaks good English and very attentive. There’s just a weird smell in the bathroom. The hotel facade is darted look a bit dodgy but overall good price and pleasant stay!

My stay at Hotel Tainan was just okay overall. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was good, offering a decent variety of options to start the day. The room itself was fine, though it felt a bit outdated, particularly the bathroom, which was noticeably old, except for the modern heated toilet. While functional, the overall atmosphere of the hotel didn’t feel particularly pleasant or inviting. It served its purpose, but I wouldn’t describe it as a comfortable or memorable place to stay.

Old Man Captain Hostel is in an unbeatable location—right in front of TRA Tainan Station, making it super convenient for travelers. However, the entrance is a bit tricky to find as it’s inside the FamilyMart by the station, so it took me a while to figure out how to get in. There’s also a Ubike station nearby, which makes exploring the city really easy. The staff were friendly and spoke English well, which made check-in and general communication smooth. As for the dormitory, the beds were pretty basic, and the room itself was quite small. It wasn’t exactly dirty, but it wasn’t particularly clean either. If you’re just looking for a place to crash for a night or two, it does the job, but don’t expect anything fancy. Overall, a good option for budget travelers who prioritize location over comfort.

Could walk from the hotel to many points of interest in the old city. When it got too hot, could easily return to the hotel to rest and then go out again in the evening. The hotel has everything I needed. The provided list of good places to eat nearby was a big help to me.   The staff were very  friendly and helpful.

Although the sound of entering and leaving the door on the first floor is a bit loud, the interior of the room and the photos are in line, very beautiful and quite clean!

離車站很近，但是進出巷弄會有可能會走過頭，建議可以設個路標在巷口。 隔音沒有到很好但也被吵到，住起來是蠻舒適的，屬於下次到台南還會入住的選擇

I was looking forward to the Japanese style decoration when ordering Ordered only for the very flavorful bathtub When we arrived at the site, there was no bathtub.
