The accommodation has a good location, and the room we got had a nice view. However, when we went to the breakfast room on the first floor, it was raining heavily and there was a leak. The staff had to use buckets to catch the dripping rainwater. It was the first time I'd ever seen something like that.

This time, we stayed in a deluxe family room, which was incredibly spacious. It had an air purifier, so the room felt dry and comfortable. The lighting was bright, and the wooden floors gave it a warm feel. For breakfast, the buffet offered both Chinese and Western options, but the freshly made beef soup was definitely a highlight and a major reason why we chose this hotel. The only minor drawback was that the ceiling was undergoing renovations, but overall, it offered great value for money.

It's a cheap hotel, so if you're not looking for high quality, it's acceptable. It's a very old hotel.

We come here every year. While it's not a new hotel, it's a solid, well-established one! This time, I specifically invited friends for a family trip with two families. I even called the hotel to ask them to arrange our rooms together... but the room layout they gave us was super strange! Still, it was good though! Recommended!!!

This was my first stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious; we booked a triple room but were upgraded directly to a quad room. There were complimentary welcome snacks, which was a thoughtful touch. Parking was abundant, and the gym was excellent and worth experiencing. The breakfast was especially delicious, featuring boiled beef and many Tainan local snacks. However, some of the service staff had less-than-ideal attitudes, which was the only minor drawback. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel.

The hotel breakfast served with cockroaches! We went @0830, most of the things was empty!

I had a great stay at Tainan Wei-Yat Grand Hotel. The location is very convenient, close to the river and many tourist spots. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice, calm atmosphere, and everything was well taken care of. The only thing that could be better is the breakfast—it wasn’t very impressive. But overall, it’s a great place to stay in Tainan, and I would definitely come back.

Convenient location

I recently stayed at the Tainan Wei-Yat Grand Hotel and found it to be incredibly clean, with well-maintained rooms and excellent amenities that made my stay comfortable. However, the location is a bit inconvenient. The nearest bus stop is an 8-minute walk away, with a limited timetable, making it challenging if you're coming from Tainan Station. Additionally, while the breakfast offered a variety of options, I found the food selection less delicious than advertised. I think their check in and check out time is very short. They start to check in at 3 pm and check out before 10 am. Overall, it's a great hotel if you're prepared for a bit of a commute and don't mind a simple breakfast.
